Chapter 26

"A Kiss is way of showing how much you love that person"

Flashback 3:

Ignorance is a bliss. That's what I had heard. But ignoring the person you love is not a bliss. It's completely fucked up.
I was currently seated in my room watching 'Friends' wearing a loose shirt and simple shorts. As Joey was hogging over Monica's food, a knock on the door, distracted me from my current interest.
Noone is home. Mom, Dad and Yash have gone out to meet some relatives. They had asked me to tag along but I didn't go because I wanted to rest after a hectic week at hospital.

I walked towards the door and till that time another knock echoed in the house.

"Coming!" my voice came out a bit frustrated. Who was disturbing me at 8 in the evening!

I opened the door with a haste and came face to face with the person whom I was ignoring since last 4 weeks!

"Aarav! " I breathed out.

"Oh! You remember me?" Aarav's heated gaze landed on me as he said those sarcastic words.

"What are you doing here this late?" I asked ignoring his previous outburst.

"I came to ask you, why are you ignoring me? " He said pushing me aside and welcoming himself in the house.

"I-I'm not! " I said stuttering.

After Rian's incident, I completely cut Aarav out from my life. I never answered his calls neither replied to his messages. He tried his best to contact me through our friends phone but I just wouldn't reply. I was way too scared to even talk to him. She fucking shooted Rian! I don't even want to know till what limits she can go!

"Yeah right! Not answering my calls, no reply to my texts, denying to meet! This is called ignoring right? " he said settling on the couch making himself comfortable.

He frowned looking at the T.v.
"You watch friends when something is bothering you! What is it, Kia? Tell me! "

"Aarav, it's nothing! I was just bored"

"Stop shitting me Kia, and tell me what's the matter? You've been ignoring me since the day Rian got shooted! You don't even hangout with us anymore! What have I done?" He was loosing his patience, I could see it in his eyes, but he was trying his best to keep a calm face.

"You know what? Just leave!" I said talking like a complete bitch.

"What? " he was dumbfounded by my reaction.

"I said, leave! Yes, I'm ignoring you that means I don't want to see your face. Simple! I thought you were intelligent enough to understand that! "

"What did I do? Will you fucking tell me? " he stood up from the couch with his fists clenched.

I took a deep breath and readied myself to say the next words,

"Because I think you're too clingy and desperate! "

"What? " Hurt flashed through his eyes making my heart cringe in pain.
I'm sorry Aarav! But I have to do this, I have no other choice!

"You heard me right! Everyone knows that you like me and I just feel that now you're too clingy and desperate. I mean you stick to me too much! It kinda irritates me! "

Liar! My subconscious mocked.

He walked towards me with a straight and blank face. His steps were slow but the aura he was emitting was dangerous. He stopped in front of me invading my personal space.
Every fibre of my body was aware of his presence and the close proximity.
