Three Months Later

"Here's  to all the shitty things that we have gone through over these past years and all the memorable ones!  To all the love, Sex and dhokas (Betrayal).
Congratulations for winning the case!" Rian said as he raised his glass of wine.

We were currently seated around my dining table celebrating our win over the case.  Mrs. Sinha has been given hang to death punishment. 
We all cheered and started eating our food served on our plates.

I looked at Aarav, he was just staring at his plate. I held his free hand under the table and gave it a tight squeeze.
He gave me a small smile when Trisha again distracted us.

"We have one more announcement to make!" 

"What? " Sam asked.

"We are getting married by the end of this month!" Rian smiled kissing Trisha's cheek.

"Oh my god! Congratulations! "  We all hugged them.  My bestfriend is getting married! 

After the celebration, I gathered all the plates and went in the kitchen.
Tri and Sam were already there talking in hushed whispers.

"Hey,  wassup?"  I asked.

"Bitch,  I wanna talk to you about something!"  Tri said and Sam clapped her hands in excitement!

"O-kay! Tell me! "

"I know in Indian weddings there is nothing such as maid of honor and stuff. But still, You know I always wanted a Christian wedding , a maid of honor  and a bridesmaid.  So Dr. Kia will you do the honors of being my maid of honor? "

I squealed,  I literally squealed and hugged her,

"Obviously Tri!  I would love to!" I said excitedly.

"So,  Sam is my bridesmaid and you are my maid of honor! Oh my god I'm  getting married!" Tri was overwhelmed and we three hugged each  other!  My sisters from different mothers!

"So, Tri asked me to be her maid of honor!  And I obviously said yes! I can't  believe they are getting married!"  I said as Aarav sat on my couch watching television. Aarav and me have been inseparable since I was admitted to the hospital. He never left my side, was always there! We haven't made anything official yet!  I don't even know if we were dating or not, but whatever it was, I loved it.
He usually crashed at my place at night.  We have made out plenty of times but it was just that. Nothing more!

"Rian never told me that they are doing Christian style wedding. Then why am I still not asked to be his best man? If he asks Evan, Oh man,  he is soo dead! " Aarav frowned.

Evan had literally became a part of the group. He was funny and Sam smiled a lot whenever he was around. The three boys had became really good friends and we all usually hanged out together.

"Dumbass, They are  doing Indian style wedding.  It was always Tri's fantasy to have a Christian wedding. That's  not going  to happen so she asked me and Sam to be her maid of honor and brides maid! Just to give her feels that she is completing her fantasies" I said rolling  my eyes.
