Chapter 22

"We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside us"

"You're  not pregnant, Tri! " I said sighing a breath of relief as  I read  the reports.

"Really? " She whispered her eyes coming out of her sockets.

"Next time,  Use protection! " Ahana said rolling her eyes.

"I mean we want you to get pregnant, but its too early! " Sam said slumping in the chair.

"And one Rian is enough, we don't want baby Rians crying everywhere!" Aarav said,  a small smile playing on his lips.

We were all sitting in my cabin at 2 in the morning as Trisha did her pregnancy  tests.  According  to her, hospital tests are more reliable than those home pregnancy  kits.

"Tri,  Are you okay?"  she was silent, staring into space.

"Yeah! I guess I'm  still disturbed with the pregnancy  thing."

"And if you don't  get periods for a while that doesn't  mean you're  pregnant! " Ahana said trying not to laugh.

"What? I thought okay!  I'm  never late! " She said in an irritated  tone.
"And also,  don't  tell Rian!  He will never touch me again"

We all laughed at her and the stupid situation  we were in.

"Hello everyone! " Evan said peeking from the half opened door.

I smirked at him and then looked at Sam.

"What are you doing here Evan?"

"Emergency!  So had to come back to the hospital! What about you?  You have your reunions at the hospital? " he said entering my cabin and looking at everyone.

"Same,  Emergency Issues! "

I looked at Aarav and his jaw was clenched with a little frown on his face.

"Hi bro! " Ahana hugged Evan and smiled at him.

Ahana was just ignoring me throughout the night. She always told me to just fuck boys,  play with them and stuff, never  get serious, and when I actually  went on a date (which I didn't wanted to go), she was pissed!  I have to talk to her.

"It's  late guys!  Let's go home! " I sighed.  I was exhausted  and the pounding in my head wasn't  helping.

"Yess, Let's  go! " Aarav said stretching his arms.  When he raised his arms to stretch, his shirt slightly slid up.  I looked at his toned abdomen and gulped.

He cleared his throat and I looked at him.  He had an arrogant smirk on his face.

Fuck!  He caught me staring at him.

I looked away and Sam was beside me asking me something which I didn't hear.

"What did you say? " I asked looking at her and trying to ignore Aarav's stupid smirk and stare.

"I said, I'll  book a cab and we will go together "

"Umm.. " I looked at Evan and he was talking to Ahana.

"You don't  have! Evan can drop you.  He lives near your place only. "  I said speaking loudly so Evan could hear.  "Right Evan? "

His eyes were wide when I said that.  He didn't  think I will put the plan in action so fast.

"Y.. Yeah, No problem.  I'll  drop you! " Evan stuttered.

"You sure?  I don't  want to be a problem.  I mean you're  tired and.. " Sam started ranting.

"Trust me,  he won't have any problem " I smirked and threw a wink in Evan's direction.

"You'll  go ahead, I'll  just pack my things up and book a cab! "

"I'll drop you! " Aarav announced  leaving no room for argument.

"No,  Aarav,  I can manage! "

"I didn't  ask you! "

He said and left probably to get the car out of the parking lot.
Everyone bid their farewells and started leaving.

"Ahana... Wait! " I said before she could leave the room.

She waited at the door but didn't  turn as if waiting for me to speak.

"How long is this going to go? " I asked.

Whenever we fought,when we were in our teens,  Ahana or me use to say this statement and we would talk and sort things out.
I was hoping it wasn't  changed.

"I don't  know?"  She said turning around.

"Ahana, I'm  sorry!  I apologized to Evan also,  and we're  good!  Trust me!"

"I'm  sorry too, I over reacted!" she looked away, staring into distance.
"You know, it hurts to see the person you love getting hurt. But you've  gotta hurt them so they can clearly see what they want! " She whispered.

I frowned.  "What?"

"Ahh!  Nothing.  I love you bitch! "

I smiled and gave her a hug!
"I love you too!  So we're  good? " I asked.

"Obviously!"

"Aarav you're  dropping me too" Ahana sat in the front seat and I took the back seat of Aarav's very expensive black coloured Porsche.

"Yeah, I figured that out! " He smirked at her.

"We'll  drive Kia to her apartment  first and then you can drop me. "

"Yess, Miss Ahana.  Anything else you want to order around? "

"Nah,  That much is fine! "

I laughed at their conversation  and Aarav looked at me in his rear view mirror.

"Umm, Did Evan leave? "

A look of hurt flashed through  his eyes but he quickly  covered it with a smile.  It was as if I imagined it.

"Yess he did! "

He started driving and I took out my phone to text Evan.

'I want the details of what happened 😁' -Kia.

'Ohh, You're  soo dead Kia. Executed the plan without my consent.  But  thankyou.  I'm  having midnight coffee with her! ' -Evan.

I smiled  at this. I was kinda shocked, Sam said yes to Evan for a coffee.

'Enjoy😉 Try not to make babies' -Kia.

'I'll  try!' -Evan.

"Whom are you texting? " Aarav asked looking at me from the rear view mirror.

"And why are you smiling like a maniac? "  Ahana asked turning around.

"I... I was..."

"Give me that " Ahana snatched the phone from my hand before I could complete  my sentence.

"Ohh! " She smirked looking at the screen and tossed my phone back.
"She was texting her soon to be boyfriend! "

My mouth  literally dropped when she said that.  I glared at her but she ignored me and looked outside the window.  Aarav was looking straight and kept his face blank.  But I could see his knuckles turning white as he gripped the steering wheel tightly.

Uh oh!  Ahana what have you done?
You're  soo dead!
