Mike takes El to the movies. Be prepared, very fluffy! But still slight cussing because of furious Eleven, and protective Mike.

16 years old

Mike

Tonight El and I are going to the movies.

My parents refuse to buy me a car, so here I am, riding my bike, just like the old days.

I reach the small cabin out in the woods.

I knocked Hopper's secret knock, so El knew she could open the door.

She opened the door and tackled me in a hug.

I kissed her on the lips and smiled. "You ready?" I asked."Yup!" She responded.

I quickly claimed on the bike, her on the back, and we rode to the small theater.

...........................

"We're here."

She got off and stood, waiting of me.

I smiled at the girl standing in front of me. I can remember when this girl had a shaved head, when she wouldn't even talk to me, didn't know what basic words meant. I loved that girl, but most importantly, I love this girl even more. I love this girl now, for the sole reason, that she is my present, and hopefully my future.

I quickly realized that I was staring and got off of the bike.

I stood, kicking the kickstand down, and walked up to my beautiful girlfriend.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as we walked up to the ticket booth.

We stood, looking at our options, "What do you wanna see?"

Her eyes lit up as she looked at the 'adventures in babysitting' poster.

"Wanna revisit our young childhood?"

"Yes!"

I smiled at her and kissed her forehead, my arm still around her shoulder.

We walked up to the ticket-booth, "Two for 'Adventures in Babysitting' please."

"You do realize that this is a kids movie right?" The guy asked.

"Yeah we realize."

"Any kids around?"

"No."

"Come inside, and walk around the snack counter."

"Oh okay."

I could feel El tense in anger.

We walked inside and I kissed her temple and whispered in her ear, "Hey it's okay, they probably have to do this when older kids do this when going to see kids movies. To promise against being inappropriate in the theater."

She looked at me and smiled, calming down a little.

The man that took our tickets walked up to us.

"You do realize this is a kids movie?"

"Again, yes we do." I repeated.

"Why do you and your girlfriend wanna see a kids movie so badly?"

"Because our childhood was shit."

"Excuse me, but if you really wanna go see the movie, you might wanna quit with that language."

"Fine."

He handed us the tickets and we got in the snack line.

"Okay El, its okay hun."

She looked at me with an angered face.

I opened my arms and wrapped her in a hug.

I felt her huff in frustration.

I kissed her on the top of her head.

She looked up at me, tears in her eyes. One of the tears fell, I slowly lifted my hand and wiped the tear.

"Babe, it's okay."

She smiles and kisses my cheek.

I looked up from her adorable face, and saw that we were next in line.

"What do you want El?"

She looked up at me.

"Fun dip and Razzles."

I smiled at her, "What she said and some popcorn, extra butter."

The lady put the candy on the counter and went to fix the popcorn.

I handed her the money, "Keep the change."

I handed El her candy, and we walked to the theater.

"I hope you kids do realize, you will be the only teenagers in there."

"Listen bud," El started," I hope you understand, I didn't really have a childhood. I'm sorry that my boyfriend loves me more than my parents did. So shut your face."

El grabbed my hand and drags me into the theater.

I sit down in one of the seats, expecting El to do one of the same.

"El, what are you doing?"

"Put your popcorn on the floor."

I do as she said, considering how furious she is.

She sits down in my lap, "I'm gonna piss some people off."

I look back down at her confused, until she smashes her lips to mine.

"Hey can you two stop, I have a six year-old with me," a random mother said

"Y-yeah, can we have a minute, I want to tick off one of the employees for being rude."

"What did they do?"

"Just making sure we knew this was a kid movie, we know we are older, but our childhood wasn't very good. Some things happened that brought us together. We just wanted to revisit childhood, a nicer, safer one this time."

The mom's face softened. She nodded and I pulled El back into a nice kiss.

"Mommy, what are they doing?" a little girl asks.

"I-I'm so sorry, we'll stop now ma'am," El said, kind of embarrassed.

She shrugged it off.

El still remained in my lap, but this time, her head was on my chest.

She leaned down and grabbed the popcorn.

I grabbed it and ate some, put my hand back in, and fed some to her.

She opened her Razzles and ate one; she handed me one and I ate it.

She laid her head back on my chest.

I kissed her temple and whispered, "This movie night was perfect. I love you."

She smiled up at me, "I love you too."
