This is a compilation of little things they do in the relationship that makes you wonder about everything.  Enjoy!

Third-person

Somethings might seem normal to the relationship, like loving each other unconditionally, cuddling on late nights while watching movies, splitting eggos in the morning to show happiness with each other.

Mike worries about what he looks like when he's older. He wonders if his hair will ever quit curling up. He wonders if his freckles would ever fade. Mike wonders if he will ever stop getting taller.

One time Mike asked El if he would still love him if his hair kept curling, of course, she said yes, but Mike still doesn't believe it. Eleven has told him a million times his freckles were amazing; that they were her own little constellation on her favorite face in the world.

El wants nothing but to be cuddled to sleep at night. So the question of who hogs the blanket, it would be a toss-up.

Some nights, El would steal the blanket for warmness, and as Mike pulls it back, he brings her right back into his arms where she belongs. On other nights, Mike tries to pull the blanket towards him because it's cold and he's giving El all his heat in mid-cuddle. But regardless, El doesn't really hog the blanket, she hogs the Mike.

It is no secret that Mike would do anything for that girl, but how far will he go? Well, Mike will eat Eleven's uneaten pizza crust if it came down to it.

One time they were getting lunch, Mike ordered a pizza and it turned out, El likes pizza almost as much as she loved Eggos. Out of the seven-piece pizza, El ate five, Mike had two and Eleven's pizza crust.

When they watch movies, the movie can't be sad, because they would both ball their eyes out over it, but who's worse?

Well, one time Mike and El were watching a movie that had a death scene of the main character and the only thing Mike could think of was how the character's family and friends felt. This was because he knew what it was like when he lost his love, El.

But another time, El started crying because a dog escape and all she could see written all over the poor owners' faces were sadness. The only thing El could think of was what Mike described as the worst 353 days without her and she could do nothing but ball and ball and ball.

Some would say El would smack talk worse than Mike while they were playing videogames, but El just unplugs his controller using her powers right before he wins. Mike, on the other hand, lays the smack talk on hard because all he has to do is kiss her right before they start and she's daydreaming instead of playing.

At one point, it got so bad they had to make a rule against powers and kisses until they were finished. So then El would lose the first round and unplug Mike's controller in between rounds one and two. So Mike would give El victory kisses in between rounds one and two.

But then the game is forgotten and they are just making out on the couch in Mike's basement.

El loves music. That was why Mike got her the radio for Christmas. Eleven thinks that Mike likes the present more than she does. When they are at El's house they like to play the radio, loud, and dance around to the music and just have fun being the teenagers they are. But Mike likes to mess around with El and sing the music to the radio and Eleven doesn't seem too fond of it.

When El started going to school, Mike had to explain to her what some things were. When they had the talent show El wanted to see what it was like. So El entered and she got nervous and Mike entered at the last minute to keep her calm. Neither of them won, they just embarrassed themselves and gave each other some amazing memories to say that they have done this. That night ended with a sweet kiss full of very loud laughter at how stupid it was.

After the snowball for a little while they were happy about getting to hang out in the cabin during Christmas break, and that comes with talking, cuddling, movie watching, kissing, and cooking.

You might think that Eleven would light the cabin on fire, but no, it was Mike. El poured water on the burning skillet by moving it from the stovetop to the sink and turning the water on quickly with her mind. Mike wasn't trying to do anything special but show El how to make homemade Eggos because she had finished the box the night before. Let's say Eleven hasn't tried the homemade Eggos after that.

Let's talk about something a normal couple would do for once. Prank wars, Mike was nicer while El was out for blood. Mike would do little things that annoyed her, like getting her a strawberry slurpy instead of a cherry one. One time he hid the box of Eggos in the freezer.

El, on the other hand, has thrown Mike into a many of pools, some lakes, and she likes to do it casually with the flick of a finger while not looking at him. It seems funnier to the party that way.

This one seems easy, Mike buys groceries. If Eleven went the only things that would come home would be Eggos, frozen pizzas, and Ice cream. That doesn't mean Mike still doesn't buy them anyway but it's nice to have more than pizza and eggos for every meal. Well at least to Mike it is. Even though Mike almost burned the cabin on fire the first time he cooked for Eleven he has become a great cook, following his mom's steps.

One night, before El could go out in public again, Mike showed her how to make mac n cheese. El thought it was an easy enough meal to learn and all she had to do was boil the noodles and mix the cheese powder into it. Just because Mike showed her how to do that, she took an amazing interest in cooking and somehow, in a very small amount of time, Eleven is a way better cook than Mike.

Somethings will just always be stereotypically backward. El kills all of the bugs, Mike runs like a child. El just clenches her fist while looking at them and it works. I guess when you have faced death a million times, a little eight-legged creature isn't so scary.

Eleven is the night person of the two. All she wants to do is cuddle with Mike and watch movies or just talk to him. Mike usually complies and cuddles with her and just shows affection to her late at night, when nothing matters but the fact that she is in his arms. El understands that his natural time system doesn't stay up as late as hers does and cuddles with him while watching a movie and he snores lightly, her body wrapped in his. But about an hour after he falls asleep she finds herself sound asleep. Her smaller body cuddled into his chest, tightly and her face resting in his neck.

Mike is more of a morning person though. When he wakes up he has to lay in the bed for a while before he gets up so El doesn't wake up. It never works though because when he gets up El grabs his hand and begs him to cuddle again. We all know, one thing Mike can't do it say no to Eleven. So he lays in bed with her and watches tv as she cuddles tightly into his body once again, sound asleep until she wakes up again.

The cliché answer to this question would be Mike, and that would be correct. Mike brought El to a fancy restaurant and kissed her on the lips and asked her to marry him, and soon enough they were married and cuddling every night in their own house so parents wouldn't get in the way. But Mike didn't know that El was about to also ask him the same question on that date until immediately after he asked and she pulled out the ring she had for him and slipped it onto his finger as he did hers.
