"You did what?!" Jarred yelled

"Honey, it was the best option we could come up with. "Luna said, gently.

"You want to talk to them in our own home?!"Jarred yelled.

"I agree with communication but leading them right towards us is dangerous, don't you think?" I tried to reason.

"You don't get a say in any of the pack discussions!"Hudson gritted.

"Okay everyone just calm down! Yelling at each other isn't going to help anything!" Emily yelled over everyone.

Everyone looked at Emily as she pushed herself a bit closer to Jace, who stayed quiet, knowing he doesn't have the right to speak here.

"They'll be here any moment. We will not come across aggressive. We will remain as reasonable as possible. Got it?" Hudson said but was clearly talking specifically to Emily and I.

"Of course." Emily said.

I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"We will do everything we can to avoid a war. Anything without aggression." Luna said, sternly.

It was silent for several moments. Everyone was deep in their own thoughts.

If this meeting didn't go well, then we would go to war. If it went perfectly, there wouldn't be a war.

Sensing my slight distress, Jarred pulled me close to him and stroked my hair.

"We'll be fine." He said.

I jolted at a loud knock at the door and almost had a heart attack.

"No aggression, at all."Hudson said, firmly, as if daring us to go against what he said.

We all nodded and he left quickly followed by Luna to get the door.

I looked up at Jarred worry clear on my face and he returned the look. Looking over to Emily, I could see she was just as scared while Jace was doing his best to calm her.

"Right this way."Luna's voice came as she walked around the corner followed by Hudson and three other people.

"Wow, for a bunch of wolves, you guys really know hospitality, huh?"A brown headed boy said.

They each didn't look much older than twenty.

A blonde headed girl in front eyeing all of us, clearly on her guard for anything.

"Well we want to show that we are not at all a danger to your kind."Luna smiled

The blonde glared at Luna.

"We would definitely disagree with that."The blonde grit.

I frowned and Jarred held me closer. I could see he wanted to say something but didn't.

I held his hands that were around me to reassure him, just as he did me.

The other girl behind the blonde started towards Jarred and I. Jarred held me closer if that was even possible as I watched this dark haired girl make her way towards me.

She eyed me, studied my features, touched my hair.

Is this the human's way of saying 'hello' or 'I'm going to kill you'?

Jarred almost growled at her but I squeezed his hands telling him to swallow it.

She then moved to Emily and did the same thing.

"Jenna, what are you doing?" The blonde asked.

"They're so beautiful it's unreal."

The blonde frowned and the boy chuckled.
