"Dad! Are you crazy?!" Jenna yelled from across the field.

"Shut up, Jenna."

Jenna made her way to the middle of the battle field and stood near her father.

"If you kill their Alpha, that's only going to make all this worse! I won't stand for it!"

The red headed man glares at Jenna, livid.

"You dare stand against your family?! You stand with these beasts?!"

"He killed Hayley, Jenna. What are you doing?" Emery frowned.

Jenna drew her weapon, a katana like sword and stood near us, the wolves, against her family.

"If you kill their Alpha, I will kill you. A life for a life." Jenna frowned back.

"You traitor. You are no longer my daughter. You have always been a disappointment."

Jenna shook, tightening her hold on the sword.

What the hell is she doing? Jason's voice sounded.

She's choosing peace. My father said.

"I'll deal with you later." The red headed man grit and turned his attention back at my father.

"You want your people to survive? Your life is on the line."

I growled.

"I think not!"

"You don't get to speak here, traitor!"

Jenna grit her teeth.

"I will strike you down where you stand."

"Jenna, enough! This is too far. You aren't really siding with the enemy, are you?" Emery said.

"They aren't the dangerous ones! They only defend themselves against brained wash followers like yourselves! We came after them first! All because of you father! None of this would have happened if you had just minded your damn business!"

"Jenna, knock it off! They have been killing us for decades!"

"And we've been doing the same! What happened to Hayley was awful, but she brought that upon herself! She got aggressive with predators and she paid for it!"

The red headed man growled, stalking towards Jenna and swinging at her. She ducked back.

Dad ran in front of her in a protective form and growled at the red headed man.

"We do not hit females." He growled at him.

One by one, we each started shifting back to human form. I stayed in my wolf form, giving it would hurt like hell to shift back with silver wounds.

"Alpha Hudson? We protect the female hunter now?" His beta asked.

The red headed man looked at my father and pointed his sword at him.

"So you're the Alpha."

My father growled.

Jason stood by my side in his human form.

"Jarred, shift back."

I whined, feeling the pain still eating at my insides.

Jason seemed to notice and cursed.

"Dad, don't do this!"

"You no longer get to call me your father! You are not my daughter!"

Jenna grit.
