Ch 30: thirteen?

Raven POV
"So this will be your room from now on" Eli shows me around the large house, my room being the last thing, "you can decorate it how ever you want" he opens the blue door to reveal a normal room.
"Did you guys know I was coming?" I ask, looking around the average room, I sit on the bed
"Well, no..." He starts. "The house is kinda cursed, so it knows when a new soul is on its way. It's hard for us to tell though. If you couldn't tell by the wonderful welcome you got" he rubs the back of his head. I nod a little and look around the room some more

Eli speaks up again after a moment of silence "I'm interested to see what your going to do with your room" he leans on the door frame, still shirtless,
"Yeah, I've never really been into decorating. Just a few posters and probably an Xbox for entertainment" I smile at him, he smiles back. Probably one of the warmest smiles I've ever come across.

"How did Franki know my name? How did she know about me?" Curiosity got the better of me by this point,
"She can read souls, like a book. She'll know everything by now" Eli shrugs "if you're on her good side you've got nothing to worry about"
I take a deep breath in "and if you're not?" I ask, still holding my breath. He could see the worry on my face, he walks into the room and closes the door.
"If you're that scared of her, I can protect you. I'll take all the hits. I can keep you safe" he smiles lightly,
"I'm not worried about dying or anything, but if she knows everything about me, she could easily torture me" it was a slight lie, I'm not scared of her. I need to know what she has planned.
"She hasn't got time to do that, she's got a whole house of souls to focus on" Eli laughs a little, "she probably worry's about me more than anyone else" he shakes his head
"Yeah, Franki said that she made this place for you" I speak up again,
"The more you say her name the more she's going listen, she's got ears all over this place" he kicks my door,
"What the fuck man?!" A female voice screams from the other side
"I'm having time with the new girl, go away Vicki!" He shouts kicking the door again,
"How many people live here?" I ask, looking at my door
"A few, don't let them bother you. The more friends you have here, the better" he sits beside me, "she made this place so my soul could actually exist, but I don't really like being alone. I've tried to be my best, but I feel like I'm set up to fail every time"
"Maybe she's setting it up so you will fail?" I question,
"She does it so I can learn, although it's starting to feel like I'm too much for her. She barely pays any attention to me" Eli stands up again, "I should leave you alone" he smiles, "have fun setting the place up" he nods a little and leaves.

Too much for the devil? She's definitely planning something. I shuffle back on my bed, wrapping my cloak around me, turning into a shadow once again.
Let's see who can see me...
I start to dart through the house, starting at the end of the hallway, giant concrete doors. A large amount of heat seeps through the small gap under the door. Franki's room. I quickly dart under the door into the flaming room. Everything is engulfed in flames, there's no way I'm finding anything in here. I take my leave and go to the next door, a white door. The room is empty, a few splatters of dried up blood on the floor. Looks to have been empty for a while, could be something to look into. The door opposite is a salmon kind of colour, grunting coming from the room. I zip under the door and hide under the dresser, a large muscular woman with long salmon hair stood beating a punching bag. Splatters of blood painted the room. Could this be her weapon? Pathetic, how are you supposed to punch a shadow?
The next door across the hall is a light pink door, the one I've been in before. Naomi I believe? The next is a dark purple door, the stench of drugs stains the carpet where her door lies. I have a feeling if I go in there I'll have a hard time staying sober. Naomi's lover?
The next is a dark blue and light blue swirled door, the only door like it. This could be interesting, I enter the room, a boy kneeled on the floor in front of a few candles and a picture of the salmon haired woman.
"Who's there?" His head lifts up, i turn to my human form and laugh lightly, "I've been caught" he turns around as the ground starts to rumble, he starts to light on fire. "Well, looks like it's time to leave" I turn back into a shadow and zip across the hall once again, I didn't have enough time to look at the door, but I instantly regret my very stupid move, the room smelt of scented candles and dick. I look around, well over a thousand dildos covered the walls from head to toe, all 50 square mitres. The rainbow of dicks lead to a teen on her bed, rubbing one out on a pillow of Eli and one of his plaid shirts. The scene getting too lewd for my eyes, I had to leave, I take a look at the door as I make my way to the next room, don't go in the yellow room. An intense blue door is my next challenge, I sleep under the door and immediately hide. The heaven staff from the blondie sat against the wall beside the bed I'm currently under, this bitch gotta have answers, Eli's right hand man. Blurri.
I take no time in leaving that room, I'm on a mission. The next room being a rainbow spotted door, this guys gotta be interesting... or gay.
The room looks like it's made out of skin, carpet and all. I zip around the room but there was nothing for me to hide under,
"What are you doing on the ceiling silly?" A sweet female voice bubbles from below me, the light turns on, a female with high pigtails and different patches of skin sewn all over her body hangs above me, gravity not assisting her at all,
"How the fuck" I turn to my human form as I notice all the furniture is above me, "What an interesting way to decorate your room" I look around examining every detail, it looks as if this girl has literally flipped gravity on its head.
"Hi, I'm Harriette, I'm new" she reaches a hand above her, I take her hand and shake it lightly
"Likewise" I'm still in awe from the 'upsidedown' world this girl is in.
She giggles and nods "I believe you said you were on a mission?" She beams at me, "although I'm always happy to have visitors, can I get you something?" She motions to a mini fridge in the upper corner of her room.
"How did you know I was on a mission?" I ask,
"You said it earlier, outside my room" she doesn't blink
"Right" I turn back into my sleek shadow and leave the room, "you're cool Harri" I say before leaving, the next room being mine so I don't bother entering, but the opposite is a light pink, a warm heat emits from the door. I have a feeling I'm going to like this one. I enter without even bothering to hide, a red headed angel turns around, her big blue eyes welcoming me. She smiles as she nods
"Good evening, I'm Mei" her soft warm voice welcoming me more. I immediately turn to a human, putting my hand out
"I'm raven, the newbie" I smile from under my cloak, Mei takes my hand with both of hers, she lowers her head then looks back at me "You're truly blessed to have been given a second chance" she smiles wider this time, "if there is ever anything you need, I will help the best I can"
"Same goes Mei, thank you" I pull my hand back and turn back into a shadow, leaving the room after giving a small wave. She could definitely be useful.
The next door is a rich red, with a few dicks drawn in pen around the handle. I really hope this isn't like the yellow room, I zip into the room as fast as I can, hiding in the first dark spot I see. Red walls accented the room to go with the door, but most furniture is black. I sneak out, then notice there's no one here, I check under the door to make sure no one is coming, I quickly go into my human form and look around the room, trying to find a clue on who this person is. A chainsaw leant in against the bed, I take a closer look at the weapon, 'Eli' carved into the metal base. This is his room, I look around more, trying to see what kind of person he is, I rummage through some drawers and wardrobe. Even his bathroom. He seems like an average-ish guy, how could Franki have chosen his soul?
Voices start coming towards the room, I quickly close the drawer Im in and turn into a shadow, hiding under the bed as quickly as I can, Eli enters the room. I let out the breath I was holding and go to make a run for it, Frankis boots caught my eyes, fuck. If I move she'll know I'm here if she doesn't already.

"Elijah I need you" she growls a low voice at Eli,
"Fuck Franki" Eli responds, following Franki to the bed.
Oh fuck no. I'm trapped, I look around the base of the room for any dark spots towards the door. I'm going to have to be really stealthy here.
I could hear to two above me, slight low giggles and shuffling, Eli's clothes fall beside me. A gust of his scent flew my way, a sweet yet masculine smell. I couldn't help but go to his shirt and give it a good smell,
He's a good guy, why is he with her?
Then the moaning starts, my panic rises. Really should get out of this, I start darting around under the bed, trying my best to find at least one shadow I can hide in.
The bed starts moving back and forth, grunts and moans of the two above me fill my ears as the room fills with their sweat, causing the smell of sex to settle.
This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened.
The moans stop, Eli's feet drop beside the bed as he pulls his underwear on and goes into the bathroom. The She devil still on the bed. Fuck.
"You know honey. He'll never love you like he loves me" she growls. She knew I was here.
"Believe all you want, but I made him. I know him" the sound of a lighter flickers, I take this change to get out of the room, I use the wall and skim around the room, locking eyes with the naked devil on the bed before leaving. I take a deep breath and try to forget what I just heard. Focus.
The next on the list is a purple door, I enter the room, which isn't really a room at all, a huge forest lay before me. I turn into my human form and touch the bark of the trees, then the leaves on the ground, along with the flowers and grass. "It's all real"
"You bet!" A small girl floats above me, a light glow emits from her back. "Hey there" she waves and smiles "I'm Elli" she puts her feet on the ground, the light behind her turns into slim fairy wings,
I'm stunned by what's in front of me.
"You're supposed to introduce yourself" she giggles
"Yeah, hi" my eyes don't move from her glowing wings "I'm raven"
she giggles again, "I'm a fairy" She flutters her wings a little "are you a ninja?"
I shake my head, snapping me out of the trance I seemed to have put myself in. "I'm a shadow" I answer the young girl
"That's so cool!" She exclaims, "do you wanna' be friends? I have really good party's" she bobs up and down happily.
"Sure kid, but I'm on a mission, there's one last door I've got to check out." I smile the the child,
"The green one?" She tilts her head to the side, "that's Patti's room. She's my friend too" Elli points behind her, a large bright red dog playing in the distance.
"You have a room for the dog? I guess that's plausible since all souls gets a room"
Elli nods, "she's been her a while"
