In the end, Scott had to stay for two more nights, just to be sure, because he had been having issues with his circulation. But after another night in the hospital, he was released in the morning after having breakfast. Avi picked him up while Mitch stayed at home, cleaning a little bit and setting up everything they would need to take care of their injured boyfriend.
The smaller blonde was humming as he put away the hoover and got out a few blankets from the drawers, so they could all cuddle up on the sofa comfortably. Once he had done this, he already heard the familiar sound of Avi's car in the driveway. A bright smile was on his face when he opened the front door and almost ran outside to greet his boyfriends. "Scotty, hi, how are you?"
"Hey Mitchy" Scott greeted back, before he slowly got out of the car. He held on to the hand which Mitch offered him and stood up. "Feels so good to be back home."
"I agree" Avi said as he took Scott's bag from the backseat and carried it inside.
Mitch and Scott followed him a little bit slower. "Wanna sit down in the living room?" Mitch asked him.
"Mmhm..." Scott hummed. "I'd love to, but I can walk on my own, you know."
"I know, but you're limping because of your knee, so I will hold your hand. You can rely on me, Babe" Mitch explained with a soft voice.
Scott wanted to reply something, but somehow lost his balance and had to lean on Mitch to not fall down. "Thank you, Babe" he just said when he felt Mitch's arm around his waist, holding him.
"You're welcome. And now come on, Sweetheart, we're almost there." Together the two men made it into the living room where Mitch sat Scott down onto the sofa. "Here we are. Do you need anything?"
"Mmhm... can you maybe help me get my shoes off? I can't really bend my knee so..."
"Oh of course, Babe." Mitch kneeled down in front of his boyfriend and carefully took Scott's shoes off.
"Hey, Love, here's some ice for your knee." Avi joined them and helped Scott with propping his leg up. He laid the ice on top of the bruised knee.
"Uuh, thank you" Scott said, smiling at both of his boyfriends. "You're amazing."
Mitch shrugged his shoulders. "We've been told" he said cockily. "Now, do you need anything else?"
"Nothing but cuddles. Oh and maybe some water. I still need to hydrate like crazy" Scott explained, smiling when Mitch went back into the kitchen to get something to drink while Avi sat down next to him. "How are we going to do this cuddling without hurting you?"
"Hmm... I don't know, but my chest is off limits, that still hurts like crazy" Scott explained.
"Why don't you come over? My chest is perfectly fine and ready to be cuddled up against." Avi winked at him and opened his arms for the tall blonde to snuggle up.
It took Scott a moment to move over to his boyfriend and another moment to get comfortable inside his arms. "Mmhm..." he hummed. "Way better than a hospital bed."
"Don't you look all cute." Mitch came into the living room with three bottles of water and sat them down within reach, before he took out his phone. "I'll snap a picture for the families, alright?"
"Yeah." Scott leaned back against Avi and smiled for the camera. "Will you send it to my parents and tell them that I'll facetime them later?"
"Done and... done. Now before I get too comfortable. Do you need a blanket, Scott? I brought out the huge ones."
"Oh yes, please." Scott smiled when Mitch spread the fabric over him. "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Mitch flopped down next to Avi. "Now... shall we watch a movie?"
