If you are a student, I'm sure your wish would be, in any way, associated with getting good grades right?

You've been to school one point in your lives, you know who I'm talking about. There's always that one or two students in your grade that just get 100% on all subjects.

However, things are a bit different for this particular student. Getting good grades? Sure, it would impress his parents. Sure, he has a good future ahead of him. But other than that, there really wasn't anything else to be happy about.

"Jooheon-ah! Can you show me your Chinese writing assignment? Just to get some ideas?"

"Hyung! Please help me with maths after school~ I can pay you if you want!"

"Oh no! Science is next lesson? Shit...Jooheon! Lend me your homework! I swear it's only this time! Pleaseeeeee"

"Jooheon!" "Hyung!" "Help me...you're my friend..."

Jooheon rolled his eyes and stood up from his seat. He felt like his head is about to explode if he doesn't leave the classroom soon. He started packing up his half eating lunch, giving a death glare to a student that tried to snatch his maths homework in his desk drawer.

Stuffing everything in his schoolbag, he sighed and shook his head, his lunch in his hand, and left the classroom he calls a hellhole.

This is what I mean when things are a bit different. Things are already better today, considering that he had been bribed to cheat in an assessment in other occasions. The things his classmates, his so-called "friends" do to get his help are ridiculous, absurd, even disgusting.

This is why Jooheon refused to tutor or help anyone, no matter what. He thinks people that pays him or flatters him is just trying to get himself on their side. What he needs are real friends.

Well, he didn't help anyone since secondary school, when students start to rebel against studying, being a teenager and all. However there was one exception, as much as Jooheon hates it. A teacher forced him one day to help a junior, someone two years younger than him. He hated it from the start, but he had no choice did he? At least things didn't turn out as bad as he thought it would.

So Jooheon carried his stuff and walked across the hallway, down the staircase to the 4th floor, where the classrooms are way more peaceful to eat lunch in. As he passed the classroom windows he looked in and see his "student" sitting in his seat, buried in a bunch of textbooks. As usual.

Jooheon entered the classroom and was immediately attacked with a hug by another classmate.

"HI JOOHEON!"

"Hi Minhyuk." Jooheon mumbled, almost suffocating in his friend's tight hug. Minhyuk has better grades than average too, but not as good as Jooheon. Jooheon realized quickly that he must be helping another junior in the same class.

"Can you release me please? I'm going to suffocate for god's sake."

"Oops sorry!" Jooheon sighed at the rush of fresh air as he finally gets freed. "I was too excited to see you here! I wanted to eat lunch with you, but I have to help Hoshi..."

"Who's Hoshi?"

"You forgot already?! How?! I'm disappointed in you Jooheon. I thought you're my friend." Minhyuk pouts and Jooheon just rolled his eyes impatiently, waiting for his friend to explain. "Fine, it's the student from this class that the teacher just forced me to tutor one day, remember?"

"Well okay, I kind of guessed it, but you told me last time his name is Kwon Soon Young or something like that."

"YEAH... but I ALSO told you his nickname is Hoshi." Minhyuk crossed his arms.

"Wait, you did? I guess I was too busy helping Changkyun then..." Yep, Jooheon is tutoring Changkyun. He stopped complaining after he gets to know how quiet and shy the other is. At least he won't shout and scream and annoy Jooheon like his classmates.

"Yea right whatever. Go help your Changkyun and maybe we will have time to eat together still."

"We will still have time to eat." Jooheon corrects.

"Jeez okok genius. It means the same thing." With that Minhyuk and Jooheon head off to their respective students.

As Jooheon close in to Changkyun's table, he notices him holding a phone.

"Hey, you are not suppose to use phones during school time. You're lucky I'm not on duty, even though I'm a prefect." Jooheon snatched the phone from Changkyun's hands, turned it off and returned it.

Jooheon caught Changkyun's mischievous smile and sighed. "What did you do with your phone?"

Changkyun once again unlocked his phone and showed Jooheon a picture of him hugging Minhyuk. He wasn't able to keep in his chuckles anymore. "Looks like you guys like each other a lot." He swiped left to reveal a video of Jooheon and Minhyuk's conversation.

Jooheon felt his cheeks heat up, secretly hoping that no colour shows.

"You're blushing." Unfortunately, it did.

"No I'm NOT. Delete it." Jooheon crossed his hands.

"Nope. Never." Changkyun laughed and tried hide his phone in his pockets. Jooheon went and grab his wrist just in time. They struggled for a bit, Jooheon's face flushed a redder shade, because his embarrassed or angry, he didn't know for sure anymore.

"Okay Changkyun." He released the younger's wrist. "If you don't listen to me and delete it I'm seriously going to get angry."

Changkyun's smile left his face at Jooheon's sudden change in tone. Slowly he unlocked his phone and deletes the video and the photo.

Jooheon smiled and sat down next to him, ready to start the tutoring session.

"I should be the one that's angry." Changkyun mumbles just loud enough for Jooheon to hear it.

"What did you say?" Jooheon heard it, but he didn't know what he means by that.

"When you hugged...Nothing. Just forget it."

That day after school, when Jooheon can finally stop concentrating on lessons and teachers talking, he let Changkyun's words sink in. Coincidentally, Changkyun passed him on the way out of the school gates.

When he realizes what Changkyun meant, it was too late.

Jooheon looks up, but Changkyun was already gone.
