Risha-senpai: This story will start after the Director of CCG offered her to be part of them.

Yuuki's POV

Tick tock, tick tock, the sound of the clock echoed in the empty meeting room 'That man, he said to wait for him but what's taking him so long?' I fiddle my hair out of boredom while still staring at the closed door.

'*♪If you don't play with me... I'll cut your arms off♪' That song, it's stuck on my head for so long. I remember that a friend use to sing that back then.

"♪If you don't play with me... I'll cut your legs off♪" I unconsciously sing not paying attention to my surrounding. It's really weird but I remember enjoying that song being sang to me even how creepy it is.

"♪If you don't play with me... I'll—!" The door opened revealing a black haired man in a suit "Good morning Akuma-san, I must say I'm pleased that you accepted my offer after declining it at first but may I ask why did you change your mind?" He asked.

I stare at him then lean on my hands "With you asking that it makes me think you don't want me here" I said in a low voice, he stare at me and slightly wave his hands around "No, no. It's not like that" I sigh at him and stand up "Just guide me to my squad" he calm down and walk out of the office.

We exited the CCG building and entered a black car. None of us talked throughout the journey to this squad's place since he already explained me everything.

I will be joining a group called Quinx Squad, QS Squad for short, where everyone in this squad are called Quinckes. They are just normal Ghoul Investigators to be honest, well that is after the Quinckes Surgery also known as the Kakuhou Implantation.

Differently to the manufacture of Quinque, the Kagune is taken out of the ghoul is coated in quinque steel but not made into a case. Instead it is implanted in the body.

The mentor of this squad is named Haise Sasaki, a Rank 1 Investigator, and the squad leader is Kuki Urie, Rank 2 Investigator. The members of this squad are Tooru Mutsuki, Ginchi "Shirazu" Fuchi, and Saiko Yonebayashi. The first two members mentioned are Rank 3 investigators while Yonebayashi is a Rank 2.

For now that's all I know but I'm sure it won't be long for me to figure out the process of the surgery. The car stopped in front of the house "Well, this is our stop. I will introduce you to them if I can but I'm afraid I can't because I still have to attend a meeting" he explained while I just nod in response. Why? There is no need for introductions if you already know them.

I walk inside the house only to see it empty. Good, I don't want to come across anyone today. I head upstairs and stop at the last door where there's a sign saying 'Yuuki Akuma'. I presume that Director Yoshitoki Washuu, that man before, already told them.

I entered the room and stare at it. It was spacious enough for my stuffs. I pull out my phone and dialed a certain number "Hey Seven, you know what to do" with that I hung up.

Third Person's POV

The sun finally sets and night have come. The squad leader and the members (excluding Saiko) along with their mentor Haise have finally arrived. After a long day they are expecting for a time to rest and think, also to meet their new member.

"Oi, Sassan where is that newbie?" the 19 years old man with a cowlick like a rabbit's, Shirazu, asked to the black and white haired Haise which rubbed the back of his neck in a sheepish way "Maybe in their room?" He replied in a questioning manner.

The squad leader, Kuki Urie, walk upstairs with the others trailing behind him. Just one look on the door and they knew the newbie is already there. The sign with their name on it is replaced by a 'Get Lost' sign and the door is replaced by a hard metal. There's also hand scanning device, voice identification device, and password lock fixed in the door.

"Please state your business" a mechanical voice said from the radio above the door. As the squad's mentor, Haise talked "Uhm, we just want to get to know you" he said as sweat roll down his forehead "Foreign voice detected, security system activated" Q bullets came flying in their direction catching them off guard.

But luckily Urie blocked all of them "Just come out there and stop this now" he said. The Q bullets disappeared just as the door opened. They entered the room only to be greeted by the lights coming from eight big screens.

In front of the screens is a figure staring at the screen which happens to be a monitor with half open eyes "What do you want?" She quietly said "(idiot) You should at least introduce yourself" Urie answered, Yuuki turn her head to her left and look straight at the darkness "You can go now" just then, a figure with a cloak jump out of the window.

"As far as I know you already know my name so be considerate and leave me alone" she said turning her attention to her comrades with a glare but Urie won't be intimidated by a mere girl "Letting a stranger inside someone else's house is not a good manner at all" the girl sigh in a tired manner then lean on her hand.

"Don't talk as if this is yours either" She retorted as her uncovered eye slowly close. At last Shirazu can't stand the girl's actions anymore so he step in front of Urie "Oi! Don't be such a jerk and just introduce yourself!" After this Tooru immediately pulled him away from the blank faced girl.

"If that'll make you shut your trap then fine" she stand up in a slow pace then stretch her arms while the others stare at her still waiting. She rub her eyes, ruffle her hair then yawn.

It took her minutes to do all this making them impatient (by them I mean Urie and Shirazu) "I'm Yuuki Akuma, a Rank 2 investigator" Tooru raise his hand to ask a question but Yuuki talked "And don't even ask me why I'm already a Rank 2 when I just became a Ghoul Investigator because I also don't know" Tooru let his hands down as a sign that his question is already answered.

"How old are you?" Haise asked with a kind smile. Yuuki blankly stare at him "18" Haise thanked her for answering his question. Then Shirazu butt in "Eh? Then you shouldn't be here, you look like you will lose a fight with a fly" he insulted with a laugh, Yuuki glare at him "*Drown in a gutter and die" she threatened.

He shut up then walk out of the room not saying a single word. The rest of them stared at the girl with a dumbfounded look. Yuuki didn't look at them and go back to her own business.

And that is how they had their first impression on Yuuki.
