"I'm sorry, but that half-naked twig is mine" the S Rated Ghoul, Serpent, said making Torso shocked.

This ghoul... something about him is familiar, but what? His character too, it's too odd for a S Rated ghoul to act like that.

He look at Shirazu and Urie who still have their kakugan activated then said "So are you guys those... Quinckes, was it? You have Kagune, right?" Really, I've noticed this for long now. Is this people an idiot or do they simply like pointing out the obvious?

"For real... all you Doves sure do some disgusting things" he said to himself then rub his head using his left hand and the other on his waist "This is no different from the Aogiri" he continue.

Wait... judging what he said, does that mean that he don't have a connection with Aogiri? But I thought... Am I wrong?

Serpent stare again at the two morons "Let's play a little... While you're being disgusting already" he said then attack Urie in such speed but Urie block him using his Kagune.

Urie released his Tsunagi from its suitcase while still blocking Serpent's attacks. This is going nowhere. They should at least team up to defeat this ghoul. If they work individually, this won't end.

Finally, Urie managed to slash him "Ow" Serpent only said. But then, Serpent spin and "Urie!!!" Shirazu shouted as Urie skid in the floor from being kicked.

A small crater was made from the impact "I'm sorry but I don't hold back against Doves" Serpent said, not sounding sorry at all "You look like you could become trouble. I'll 'pluck' you guys before it's too late"

Shirazu used this chance to attack Serpent using his ukaku. He fired multiple claw-like missiles towards Serpent but as expected from a S Rate Ghoul, he blocked it.

Shirazu succeeded in taking Serpent's attention even after the failed attempt of harming him "The fuck's that? A peashooter or what?" Shirazu gained a irk mark because of Serpent's insult "Unhurt?!" Something's really familiar about this ghoul.

It's his actions and the way he talked. I believe I have encountered with someone exactly like this ghoul, but I can't just assume that it's him. I need some confirmation.

I stop watching them for a while then talk at the transmitter "Team 11, are you back in the base?" I asked "Yes" a voice said from the other line.

"You can see all of this, right? If you do, I need you to search for a ghoul that comes to a name Serpent" a little while, I heard sounds of tapping and shifting in the other line.

A minute have passed and the voice finally replied "Serpent is a ghoul that appeared two years or so from this current year. Serpent is rated S after killing ghoul investigators, innocent citizens, and also ghouls. Is that enough? There's still lots of data about him but it'll take long to finish" I stay silent. Two years from now...

So my suspicion is right after all "Is Torso still here?" The real identity of Serpent can wait, for now we still have ghouls to catch "Affirmative" good, as long as Torso's still around, everything will go as planned.

"Okay, keep an eye at him. We'll never know what'll happen" I turn my attention back to the ongoing fight "Roger" this time, I can't believe what I'm seeing.

Urie is lying in the ground with damaged koukaku, Serpent sitting in top of piled cars with a smug look, then Tooru kneeling in the ground, badly wounded.

"That was just a normal kick, you know? You guys are just imitation an after all" Serpent said. Imitation or not what matters is to catch you and that other ghoul who started this all. No matter what happen, the mission must succeed.
