19: Remembering

Yuuki's POV

~At Suzuya Squad's Chateau~

Abara open the front door then step aside for me to come in "Sorry for the intrusion" I mumbled then slip off my shoes and into the inside slippers that Abara laid out for me.

We walk inside and into the living room "Wait here while I call for Boss Suzuya" I nod at that. Huhhh this place is really cozy. I sit in the sofa then wait for Juuzou's presence.

After I woke up from that long slumber, I remember Rei. Is she really a she or a he? What if Rei and Juuzou are the same person? What will I do? Ughhh it'll be a very unique coincidence at that case.

Even though they have differences the similarities are too many. The possibility of them being the same person is 99.99%, they have the same personality and the appearance are too precise to be a coincidence.

"Yuuki-chan?" Oh yeah and the voice are kinda similar too. Though Rei's voice is a little bit high pitched, just like a girl's voice. But I think her voice changed over time "Yuuki-chan!" Huh?

I snapped out of my train thoughts when someone wave their hand in front of me. Looking up at the owner of the hand, I saw ruby orbs meets my gold ones "Ah Juuzou" I stand up then bow at him as a sign of respect.

Well, he's my superior "Ehh? Are you really Yuuki-chan?" He confusedly asked thus made me smile sheepishly "Yes, it's me" he became quiet until he reverted back to his normal self.

"Okay! So, what do you want to tell me?" He sit at the sofa across me and so did I "Firstly, I'd like to apologize for not appearing at training when I'm supposedly there" with what I said he seemed to remember it "Ohhh! Yeah! But it's fine, I heard what happened from Mutsuki" oh that's a relief then, I don't have to explain.

"Thank you, so uhm, I have questions to ask and it's kinda personal, is it okay?" I asked then fiddle with my fingers "It's okay but it depends on the question whether I'll answer or not" I nod at him then look around.

"Uhm have we... met before?" He tilt his head at the side then stare at me "Hmm" oh I don't think he remember whether we met or not "Huh I can't remember" I knew it.

"Well... How about in your childhood?" He blinked then shut his mouth "I'm sure I didn't" he straightforwardly said thus made me sigh "Why are you even asking questions like that?" I look down at my lap.

"I met this person when I was three years old, we made a promise" a promise that I forgot but remembered "A promise?" Juuzou asked, I can clearly see curiosity in his eyes. I nod to confirm his question.

"She looks like you... Except the hair color and the stitches. She also have the similar personality as you and her voice is kinda same at yours. She's four years older than me... The same age as you are right now. She disappeared without saying goodbye at me and I thought... It might be you" I'm not looking at him while I'm explaining.

"I-I know I might be wrong but it's worth the try, I won't lose anything if I do" damn I stuttered. I really did changed inside that short period of time, I don't even recognize myself anymore.

"I'm a male though" I sigh at that "That's one of the things that's confusing me to no end, I don't know whether she's really a she or a he" Juuzou's face became more confused at what I said.

"When I first saw you I thought you're familiar but now that I think about it—"

"You can't remember anything about me" I finished off his words then smile at him "It's fine, it's not that important anyway" I assured him "But it seems to be really important to Yuuki-chan" I internally sighed 'Yes but... I don't want to bother anyone anymore' I look at him then give off another smile.
