12: It'll Be Just Fine

Risha-senpai: Ahhhh! Gomenasai! I was really busy doing a research paper that I don't have time to think for a new chapter to write! I'm really sorry!

Yuuki's POV

What should I do? No... What should I write? I don't really want to write my testament because I'm sure that I'll be alive. My instinct told me so. Ugh, whatever.

I stand from my chair and put an empty paper in the envelope. I sighed then scratch my head. What's with CCG? Do you really have to write a testament when going to operations? This is so damn annoying.

I exit my room and head to where I think Haise will be, his room. I knock on his door "Come in!" I heard him say from the other side. I open the door and see him writing something in his desk "Oi" I called out thus made him turn to me.

He give me a smile then signals me to come inside. I close the door behind me and walk closer to him "Are you going to give me your testament?" He asked, looking at the envelope at my hand. I roll my eyes at him.

"Isn't it obvious? Tch, here" I said then throw the envelope at him. He catch it then stare at me with a smile "Just asking" then he chuckled. I ignore him then walk to the door. I was about to open it when he called me "Yuuki!"

I turn around at him with an irritated look "What?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows.

I see him stand from his chair and walk towards me "What are you doing?" I asked when he gets near me with that smile in his face "Can we talk?" I look weirdly at him "We're already talking" I retorted thus made him sigh.

Haise pull me towards his bed and made me sit in there "This is going to be a long talk" he said. Long talk? Ugh, I still have lots of things to do! I don't have too much time!

"Just summarize it in 35 words" I said but he just stare seriously at me "It's about Mutsuki" That made me stop. Him. It's about him. I grit my teeth then look off to the side "I'm not going to take back what I said" I heard him sigh once again at my acts.

"He's going through so much problems right now, he needs our support. Please Yuuki, what you said really made him upset" Haise said, trying to convince him. I bite my lower lip to prevent myself from shouting at him.

"You're really close to him and that might've hurted him. He still have fear about going in the operation as a bait and what you said really hurted him" That's why I said that! I want him to make up his mind!

I told him that I'll replace him myself if he can't but he refused my offer! I want him to be strong because it'll be for the better! I was just trying to help him!

"Yuuki, talk to him. You're his friend but you hurted his feelings. You were really harsh on what you said, you could've talked to him more calmly" Okay, that's it! I snap my head in his direction with a piercing glare.

"And do you think I enjoyed saying those words at him? Don't make me look like a cold-hearted friend 'cause I'm not! I was just trying to help him! Was that wrong?!" I shouted then feel a lump forming in my throat as tears threaten to fall from my eyes.

"He's the only friend that I made other than the people in my organization. He's the only one that made me smile other than my organization. He became one of the reasons why I'm still staying here in CCG. Do you really think enjoyed hurting him?! I was just concerned about him!" He silently listen to me.

I choked on my own words as the tears I'm trying to hold back fall from my eyes "I don't want to lose him like I lost my parents! I don't want him to disappear like my brother did! I don't want anyone dying anymore! So tell me! Was that really wrong of me?! I was just..." I trailed off when a sob escaped my lips "I was just trying to protect him" I burrowed my face on my hands to hide my crying face from him.
