"Every cigarette knocks a year off your life" I yelled to Sam as I walked towards the school doors
"That's the point" he winked flicking the cigarette onto the ground and smashing it with his foot
"How do you not get caught?" I asked as he walked towards me
"The teachers stopped giving a fuck" he shrugged opening the door for me
"Thank you" I smiled walking in "but how? you'd think they'd want to protect their students"
"After 3 in school suspensions, and 10 out of school suspensions they've just given up, but can you blame them"
"Yeah" I nodded my head "if I was part of the faculty id try to save you"
"What's the point in saving someone, who doesn't want to be saved?" He asked leaning against the locker next to mine
"Knowing I tried to save you" I looked at him
"Well I don't need saving, but thanks" he smiled walking away "see you in at-dogs class" he waved
"See ya" I whispered opening my locker
"Am I being replaced by Mr. Bad boy?" Kianna asked walking up to me
"What? no" I shook my head
"Well I did just stand outside like an idiot waiting for my best friend to come walk in the school with me till I saw you and Mr. Boggs walking in" she smiled
"I'm sorry" I scrunched my face
"Whatever, you're just lucky he's hot" she teased
"I guess" I shrugged looking at his locker
"You're so telepathically flirting" she yelled
"Shut up. No were not" I looked at her
"Whatever you say Ms. Denial pants" she joked turning into her class.
I walked down the hall swiftly as I made it to Mr. Tilleys room "today you have all period to work on your books" he smiled
"So I was thinking you could come to my house to finish what we don't in class" I suggested pulling out two white pieces of paper
"Sure" he smiled grabbing my hand and taking his pen '4778902346' "text me the address" he smirked
"Will do" I smiled standing up to get some markers

"Sam!" I yelled walking out of my house
"What?" he innocently asked leaning against his car with the cigarette between his fingers
"You can't smoke on my lawn" I laughed
"My bad" he bowed his head putting it out "not used to parents caring about smoking"
"Well as long as you're my friend you better" I placed my hands on my hips
"Oh you think were friends" he joked walking towards me
"That's what I said"
"Keep dreaming Rose" he laughed pushing past me
"Rosemary to you" I laughed following closely behind him
