"Two tickets, please" I smiled opening my purse

"20" the man said

"Here, keep the change" Sam smiled grabbing my hand and the tickets

"Thank you" I smiled

"Anytime" he winked walking us towards the auditorium "so which ones Kianna?"

"The one on the end, she's in the purple dress" I pointed settling into my seat

"Oh, don't you dance?" he asked

"I did, how'd you know?" I looked at him shocked

"We've gone to school together for a long time, in elementary school you bragged about it all the time" he laughed

"Shut up" I rolled my eyes "what about you? what happened with soccer?"

"Drugs" he licked his lips and looked at his hand "I was an idiot my freshman year and got caught smoking weed, so they kicked me off the team" he bit his lip and fiddled his thumbs

"Oh, I'm sorry" I looked at his face and saw the pain

"It's not big deal, I did it to myself" he looked at me

We just stared at each other for awhile until someone called for me "Kianna" I smiled standing up

I felt Sam put his hands on my hips as he stood behind me "Rosemary.....Sam?" she said confused

"He brought me, I was in the art room" I smiled

"Oh, well I'm happy you made it" she smiled hugging me. Sams hands had moved to his pockets once Kianna hugged me

"Dinners on me" Sam said

"Thanks" Kianna smiled "I'll be right back, I have to go find Quinn"

"Alright well be outside" walking down the isle

"Cold?" Sam raised his eyebrow

"Alittle, but Kianna should be out any second now" I crossed my arms to preserve the heat

"Here" he took his jacket off and wrapped it around me, pulling me into a hug. I laid my head on his chest "better?"

"Much" I smiled looking up at him "but aren't you going to get cold?"

"Nah, I think I'll survive" he smirked looking at Kianna and Quinn as they walked towards us

"Quinn's going to take me to dinner, but thanks for the offer Sam" Kianna smiled lightly squeezing my arm before her and Quinn strolled off

"You know I'm never sure if she dates these guys or not" I laughed looking at him

"Who knows" he shrugged "hungry?"

"A little" I yawned

"Come on I'll feed you then take you home" he smiled wrapping his arm around my shoulders. I rested my head against his chest as we walked to his car

"Rose..." Sam whispered holding my door open

I must have fallen asleep after he got me dinner "thank you" I smiled stepping out of his truck "here" I slipped his jacket off my shoulders

"You keep it, all I need are these" he smiled grabbing his lighter and pack of cigarettes "night Rose" he hugged me

"Night Sam" I whispered back walking towards my front porch
