*Yuri's POV*

Both victor and I have practice today. I'm happy that we have it together but seeing him be.. well... he makes me anxious and nervous around him when he is skating. It reminds me of that time when he thought I wanted a picture with him.

*Flashback*

"A commemorative photo? Sure!"

I was absolutely terrified of ever being even five inches apart from him. Let alone skate on the same ice as him. I have no idea how he is going to do it but somehow, he will
manage it but I'm still worried for his mental health.

Sometimes, Victor would stay late after practice is over so that he could finish off some things. I believed him so I didn't question him. He would always make me feel guilty because he's staying late after practice even though I'm not. I don't really know what to say, he is my boyfriend, coach, and competitor.

Can someone be in a more awkward situation? Obviously, I'm terrified as his competitor because he is going to mop the floor with me, absolutely crush me, maybe not Yur- no what am I saying. He is gonna make a comeback stronger than anyone has ever made. I think. I mean both Yuri and I beat both his records. Well I mean we'll only know in two weeks.*calls Vic*

"Hey Vitya? When will you be done?"

"Uhhh soon. Why?"

"I just miss you, that's all. Don't push your body okay. I don't want you getting hurt."

"Aww. It's so cute when you worry about me. Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"Do you want Subway? I haven't had dinner yet and I'm really hungry. I was wondering if you wanted to have some with me."

"Uhhh...yeah, sure"

"Footlong or six inches?"

"Six inches"

"What kind do you want?"

"I'll just have what you're having but no pickles, okay. I hate pickles and don't put any jalapenos in either. I can't handle anything spicy."

"Are you sure you want a tuna sandwich?"

"YOU LIKE TUNA?"

"Yeah...why?"

"Nevermind. Can I just have the club sandwich?"

"Okay, want any drinks or cookies?"

"No thanks"

"Okay, Bye. I love you!"

Victor was acting strangely on the phone, I wonder whats up. Usually, he's calm but this time he was rushing as if he was being held at gunpoint. Oh my god what if he is. Wait, no! what am I saying? I'll just ask him when I get there.

-

"Alright thank you. Goodnight" I told the man at  the register. He was a familiar face because I usually come here when I'm hungry. There is no place better than subway. (seriously though, you guys should go to subway.)

As I grab the bag full warm sandwiches, I rush to the rink longing victor in my arms. The warmth of victor circulating around our bodies, feeling his rippled muscles against my touch. I just loved the way he holds me, in such a protective manner. As if he's the shell to my turtle.

*Victors POV*

One of my old friends was visiting me today. Ever since I started skating, we lost touch. I was always too busy with practice or competitions to hang out with him. I still feel bad for that. His name Is Vadim Rikunov. He is the same age as me and we used to go to the same school. He was always a smartass.

I hated him for that because he was always a step higher than everyone else. The teacher would give him special assignments because he was so smart. "Heyyy Victor." I suddenly hear a high pitched voice speaking to me. I turn around and see Vadim standing there. I'm surprised that he decided to meet up so late in the evening.

"Vadim! Hey, how are you doing?" Vadim had short, shiny, blonde hair with bangs that were just above his eyebrows. His eyes were blue with a tinge of green in them but Yuri's eyes were much prettier. He was wearing black jeans with black, bulky timberlands that I swear could break someone's toe, a plain white t-shirt, blue flannel and a black leather jacket.

Vadim and I used to date but I never told Yuri this because I know that he would get either insecure or jealous. Both could ruin his life and our relationship. I admit, Vadim was always on my mind, somewhere in the back of my head.

Whoever dated him would call him a curse because you could never forget about him. He was quite the man in high school, he still is. As I ever so slowly made my way off the ice, Vadim walked up to me, placing a hand on my neck and kissed me. I didn't pull back, nor did I think it was right. It was then that I heard a bag drop.

I opened my eyes to see a subway bag on the floor.
