Chapter 21: The Light behind your eyes

*Victors POV*

"YURIO!" I yell angrily, thinking that it's Yurio but as soon as I turn around I discover otherwise. In one hand he was holding hydrangeas and in the other my hand. 

"oh my god! Yuri I can't believe it's you. How, when, where, why didn't th-" my speech is cut off by Yuri's soft, luscious lips meeting mine for the first time in two weeks. Our kiss is heated and passionate. He slips in his tongue but we both fight for dominance and I eventually win. He breaks the kiss and bites my lip which soon turns red from. We both are gasping for air at the top of our lungs. 

"I missed you" I express my fondness of him and put my arm around him. "Why didn't the hospital call me?" I enquire Yuri "because I told them not to. I wanted to surprise you and speaking of surprises I got you these beautiful, blue hydrangeas."
"Aren't I the one who's supposed get you flowers?" "Yeah but these have a certain symbolism" "oh yeah? And what is that?" 

"the hydrangea became associated with heartfelt emotion, gratitude for understanding, and apology after a Japanese emperor gave them to the family of the girl he loved to make up for neglecting her in favor of business and show how much he cared about her. Basically I'm saying sorry for thinking that you could cheat on me. Most of the history comes from Japan and my mom told me about it." 

"You know you don't have to apologize for that. Many people think me of that kind of person but I'm not. I promise. Anyways, thank you for the flowers and I accept your apology even though it was unnecessary. I love you very much". Victor leaned in to kiss me but just before he does the devil himself spoke. Yurio. The killjoy of life. "So the pig lives, huh?" He rudely interrupts while leaning on one of the support beams that linger throughout the locker room. Victor and I both turn around in unison to look him straight in the eye. I open my mouth to say something but Victor replied back first. "Yes he does. Yuri is quite strong." Yuri returns his balance to both his feet and quickly marches towards me in a steamed rage. 

"listen you little pig, don't you ever do anything like that ever again because if you and you make it out alive, I'll kill you myself. Got it?" Yurio basically yells in a rage that filled the entire room. I am hesitant to reply out of feat but do anyway "uhh yeah, got it." Soon after Yakov walks in with a smile along with the other skaters. They all greeted me and wished me good health. Victor had called it a day and we both walked back to our apartment that was only a few minutes away.
