Chapter 26: night knuckles

*Yuri's POV*

I'm in the living room watching the new when I hear footsteps coming towards me. "oh good morning Phichit! How'd you sleep?" I was surprised to see Phichit walking out of his bedroom this early since I didn't take him for an early bird. "Not long enough" he said drousily as if he were drunk while rubbing his eyes. "how do you guys wake up this early?" He asked as he plopped on the sofa beside me. "well I was a custom to waking up early already, now Yuri's used to it since he lives with me." Victor spoke out from the kitchen. "you want some coffee Phichit?" Victor asked him. I was surprised he was being so nice. Last night he was sorta quiet and I'm not sure why but I'm happy that he's being open to Phichit.

"yes please. I would love some."

"Alright sure. Coming right up. How do you drink it?"

"With a bit of milk please. I'm not one for black coffee; it's wayyyy too bitter"

Victor proceeded to make us all coffee as Phichit and I sat on the sofa talking about nothing and everything. Just basic things like how he's been and Thailand and stuff like that.

Once victor brought over all three cups of warm, energetic coffee to the table, we all relaxed and sat back and watched TV. Phichit and I were sitting on one couch and Victor on the one beside us with Makka in his lap.

I finished my up my coffee and had breakfast. Victor looked at me with a glare that said 'practice!!' and I knew I just didn't know how to tell Phichit. I nodded at Vic and proceeded to try and talk to Phichit about me having to go. After a few awkward minutes, I finally opened my mouth. 

"Heyyyy Phichit, so remember how I'm an athlete who has a competition coming up and has to practice?" I said awkwardly looking at Phichit with probably a stupid look or grin on my face. "oh right. You go ahead and practice, I'll just find something to do in the city." Phichit told me. 

"Thank you. But why-" I saw victor behind Phichit sliding his band across his neck telling me to stop the sentence. "actually nevermind. Again thank you" Phichit gave me a confused face as I walked up stairs to mine and victors bedroom.

"what was that about?" I ask victor as he shut the door behind him
"what was what?" He looks at me blankly
"Why didn't you now want me to ask Phichit to come practice with us?"
"Because of the other skaters and Yakov."
"Are you sure it's not just you?" I looked at him with a stern face
"No of course not Yuri. I don't hate Phichit"
"Are you sure? Cause if you do just tell me, I won't have a problem with it"
"Alright fine. I hate him" victor says bluntly
"What why!?"
"Because he's just so annoying with all of his shipping and hamsters and so many other things. He's just annoying"
"Than Why'd you invite him to stay with us?"
"Because I didn't wanna seem rude."

I rolled my eyes at him and he just stared at me, offended

"I thought you said you wont mind if I didn't like him"
"I don't. I'm sorry." I wrap my arms around victors neck and lean in for a sweet kiss.
"What was that for?" He asks me
"Just cause I love you" I tell him
"Aww. I love you too" he kisses me back and we both go to change

"Hey Phichit, we're back!" I yell out, walking into the apartment. Phichit comes out of his bedroom and says hi. "woah you guys look tired."
"That is the dumbest thing you've ever said. Of course we are tired!!" I throw my hands in the air and yell at Phichit for his stupidity. I feel victors hand on my shoulder and suddenly calm down. He's always there when I need him most. "I know, geez. sorry" Phichit replies back a bit startled "sorry I'm just really, very tired." Victor comes close to my ear "well then go rest" he says to me and kisses my cheek from behind. "no it's fine. I'll hangout a bit and then I'll go to sleep." I say as I plop down on the couch. Victor sits next to me this time and Phichit is sitting on the couch beside us alone. "let's watch a movie! Phichit suggests and I press the Netflix button. I put on some random movie and just relax in Victors arms. Within thirty minutes, I fall asleep.

Okay sorry for such a boring chapter. I wanted to update it before I left on vacation. I'm planning on writing a few chapters in the plane or the airport so don't worry about not getting an update. Again, sorry for updating a month late. I have a news/ updates/ random/ spam book where I update my readers on whats going on since I don't like updating in between chapters.
