"Julia!" Lana yelled across the hall. "Hey Lana..." I groaned.
"What's wrong with you Jules?" Lana questioned.
I explained to Lana that the reason why I hate being in senior year is because my parents are making me go to college. "
"They want me to follow in their footsteps and become a teacher," I explained. "I already hate school enough!"
Lana told me that I should tell my parents that I don't want to be a teacher.
*riiiiiiing* Lana and I said our goodbyes and headed to our separate classes. Mine was math. From open house I could conclude I am going to hate my math teacher. She has this high pitched crackling voice and she just gives off that vibe. The this teacher is going suck vibe. She starts off class by asking us all one thing we did this summer. Everyone all had something fun and cool they did this summer. I did nothing but lay in my bed, binge watching my favorite show, Shameless, but I couldn't say that. I made something up off of the top of my head.
"Oh.. uh... I went to the beach for a weekend and stayed in a little house right next to it," I lied.
Once lunch came around I found Lana. On the way to lunch I saw Henry, my crush. I pulled Lana away from Henry. I may like him but I try to avoid him as much as possible. Every time I'm near him my face turns tomato red and I don't want him to see that. It's embarrassing. Anyway, Lana new what I was doing and followed me. We took the long way to lunch to avoid Henry.
"Ewww hotdogs," Lana complained.
"I know," I agreed. "They're disgusting."
"You guys know you can look at the lunch menu and if you don't like what's being served you can pack right?" Lana and I both recognized that snooty voice. Madyson Davis, the most popular girl in high school. It was unbelievable that she would actually talk to Lana and I.
"I absolutely hate her," Lana complained.
"Same," I agreed. "She's so sassy and sno-"
At that moment I saw the worst sight in my life. Or, at least I thought it was the worst sight. But little did I know something else was going to happen soon.
