I hid behind a bunch of boxes and peeked over the top. I don't know why but I just watched and didn't look away. Someone was stabbing Madyson. I was trying to study the body figure so I could try to find out who it was. The killer was definitely a girl. She was thin and about my height. Then I realized her body figure kind of looked like Lana's. I couldn't tell exactly because she had an overcoat on.
She was dressed all in black. Black mask, black overcoat with the hood up, black pants, black gloves, and even black shoes.
I waited until she left. I called the police and stayed by Madyson until they came. I may have hated her but she didn't deserve to die. The police arrived with some paramedics within about 5 minutes after I called. They asked me what the killer looked like and I told them about her body figure. They told me that wasn't enough information but they'll try to find her.
The police drove me home and told me mom even though I begged them not to.
"Mom, why are you and Dad getting a divorce?" I asked her as I sat on the couch.
She explained that Dad was going to force me to become a teacher and that I wouldn't have a choice. Mom told Dad that if I don't want to become a teacher I wouldn't have to. Then they got into a huge argument about if I would have a choice to become a teacher or not. After that they started getting into arguments about other things that they though their partner was doing wrong. Dad got mad so he packed up all of his stuff and went and lived with his friend.
"Dad should know that I would've just gotten another job," I told Mom. "Or even just purposely fail college."
We got into our pajamas and watched a movie while drinking tea. Mom told me that I could stay home from school tomorrow after everything that's happened today. Right after she said that, the school called and said that school would be cancelled the next 2 days for safety reasons. They didn't want kids going to school with a murderer on the loose.
I called Lana and told her what I saw. I didn't tell her that I suspected it was her though. After that I just went back to watching movies and drinking tea with Mom. Around 12 A.M. we turned off the t.v, put our cups in the sink, then went to bed.
