*backstory of Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin*

Yoongi clutched his cheek, reeling back after his mothers hand had come in contact with his face.

"Get out", She yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks, pointing at the door.

Yoongi looked at the kitchen table, where the almost empty wine bottle stood. And he looked down to the ground, the smashed wine glass at his feet.

She had thrown it at him the second he walked into the house and dropped his school bag onto the couch.

Yoongi stomped over to the couch, grabbing his bag, before heading for the door.

"AND DONT COME BACK, I'm ashamed of having a son like you", She shrieked behind him, to which Yoongi didn't respond.

She stomped towards the door and slammed it shut behind him.

Yoongi sighed, as he walked back down the path to the front gate.

"Again?", a voice to his side asked gruffly. He twisted his head and looked at his neighbour, an elderly man who seemed to always be washing his car.

"Yeah", Yoongi replied awkwardly. The man gave him a pitying look, as he continued to hose down his car.

Yoongi continued walking. He was heading to Namjoons house, where the rest of the boys probably were.

Yoongi didn't have a very good home life. His mother was constantly drunk, ever since last year when his dad had left for another woman.

She blamed Yoongi.

She insisted that Yoongi knew of his fathers affair, but didn't bother to tell her.

She seemed to be drunk 24/7, and always caused a fight in the mornings, resulting in Yoongi being late to school almost everyday.

His family was broken. Thats why he didn't bat an eyelash when he joined the gang.

He wanted a sense of comfort, protection, and family.

And he knew he wasn't the only one.

Hoseok was struggling at home also. His parents always put so much pressure on him to do his best, that he had broken down a few times.

Yoongi could remember when 15 year old Hoseok had failed a major exam, and ended up crashing at Taehyung's house for a few days to avoid his parents.

Since Taehyung was always alone, because his parents would leave at months at a time, He invited Yoongi to stay as well.

So Yoongi also witnessed Hoseok's father storming into Taehyung's house, grabbing Hoseok and dragging him back home.

They had to return Hoseok his belongings the next week at school.

It was Friday.

2 more days, Yoongi thought. Two more days until the gang fight.

He honestly didn't know what to expect, but he didn't really care. It was a excuse for all 7 of them to hang out all the time, so he was fine with it.

And if they die... well that would kinda suck but he didn't think it was a likely possibility.

So Yoongi and Hoseok didn't have nice family lives, but what was Jimins reason to join the gang?

Peer pressure? To appear cool? A sense of family as well? Protection?

Jimin was scared.

~flashback, the day after Jaehyun's party~ (a/n: that guy who got pissed at Taehyung and Jungkook)

"Hey man, who're those friends you got there?", Jaehyun appeared in front of Jimin, flashing an evil grin.

It was after school, and Jimin was at the courts playing some basketball to relieve stress.

Jimin tried to ignore him, walking over to the bench and picking up his bag.

Hands grabbed his shoulder, twisting him around rudely. It was Jaehyun's friends.

They were also his friends, he thought. But not anymore.

"C'mon guys, what're you doing?", Jimin laughed awkwardly, pushing their hands off him, "I thought we were friends?"

Jaehyun gave Jimin a sickly grin, "We are friends, Jimin! So tell me, Why are you hanging out with those maggots last night?"

He spoke in a bitter tone, full of disgust and rage.

"Dude", Jimin tried backing away, "They're my friends. Whats wrong with that?"

Jaehyun gave him a pointed stare, "You know whats wrong with that, Jimin"

He was right. Jimin knew that Jaehyun hated 'competition'. And he felt threatened after he and his minions were beaten by Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung and Jungkook.

"I dont want to be on your bad side", Jimin spoke nervously, "Just ignore it, ay? No big deal in me having other friends"

"You know what my brother can do to you", Jaehyun threatened. And Jimin froze.

Great, that was the one thing Jimin didnt want to hear.

Jimin was one of the few people that knew Jaehyun came from a dangerous family.

His brother especially. When Jimin had met him, he almost shat his pants.

He wouldn't hesitate to rip someones guts out at Jaehyun's request.

Jimin was quiet.

"...I'm sorry-", he finally said. Jaehyun smiled, thinking he had scared Jimin into ditching the 6 other boys.

"-dont talk to me or my friends ever again", Jimin finished. He gave Jaehyun a shove, and he stumbled back in surprise.

Jimin slung his bag over his shoulder, and walked away. Ignoring the angry yells from Jaehyun and his friends behind him.

"You an your fucking friends better watch out", Jaehyun screamed, "My brothers gonna be onto them"

Jimin froze for a second. But then, he carried on walking.

~end of flashback

What Jaehyun had last said, scared Jimin. He was worried about himself and the rest of the gang.

And when Taehyung told him about the gang, and the threat from the flaming wolves, he knew something was fishy.

He knew that somehow, Jaehyun was involved.

He joined the gang, hoping his limited inside knowledge about Jaehyun could keep them safe and out of as much trouble as possible.

But that doesn't seem possible anymore. Trouble seemed to follow them everywhere.
