The next few days passed reativly uneventful. The power eventually came back on and the snowed started to clear. Gray was in the bathroom brushing his teeth as I stood infront of a mirror, appplying conealer over the light, but stil noticable, marks on my neck. "Gray, you need to stop leaving these in places that are visible..." I sighed.

"Sorry." He called from the bathroom; I could hear the smirk in his voice. I slightly laughed at the ingenuine appology and closed the small tube of makeup. Quickly changing out of the clothes I slept in, I started to dress in my uniform. As I pulled of the shirt I was clad in, I could feel eyes on me. "Pervert." I said as I continued to change, blush burning my cheeks. "I have seen you in less, I don't see the big deal." He said casually. My face lit up as I walked to the door. "I-'Im going to be late.."

I pulled my scarf up higher on my face as I walked through the fridgid streets. I passed by small piles of the snow that still remained as I made my way to work. It was always nerve wracking to have the big boss in the store

The bell dinged as I walked in. It brought the attention of (F/n) and the short plump man who was talking to her. "Ahhh (Y/n), it's good to see you again, sweetheart." Bob walked over to me. He was in his typical tank top and striped shorts despite the cold weather. "I am glad to see you are keeping (F/n) in line and running the store fabulously." I laughed slightly at the comment, mainly because (F/n) was technically my superior. "Thank you, I guess..." I said quietly and smiled. "I see you are still just as quiet." He joked.

The customer flow was slower than usual. With the shelves stocked and everything in place, we sat around idly. By the end of my shift, only a handful of people had stopped in. My ears perked at the bell ringing. I looked up and met Gray's eyes. "What are you doing here?" I asked and walked out from behind my stop at the counter. Before he could say anything Bob poked his head around the corner. "That isn't how you should greet a custo- Oh hey Gray honey. What brings you here?"

"Wait, you know Gray?" I questioned. Bob laughed. "Of course I do! He is some of my favorite eye candy over at Fairytail." I was surprised at the answer and looked over at Gray; he was unamused by the comment. "He is friends with Makarov and stops by on occasion." Gray explained. I laughed.

"Did you here I was here and come to visit?" Bob asked Gray.

"Absolutely not." Gray said quickly. "I was in the area and so I thought I would walk back with (Y/n)" I blushed lightly at the gesture. "Oh? I didn't know you were in a relationship. How cute." Bob put both of his hands on his cheeks.

After more talking, the end of my shift drew to an end, and me and Gray left; hand in hand.

"I am taking another mission." He broke the silence. I looked up at him, "When?" The last time he was gone for almost a month. "I am leaving tomorrow, but it will only take a couple of weeks." I sighed at what he told me. "Just be careful..." The rest of the walk was quiet.

Later, we spent the night in each other's arms; a feeling I could never get tired of.
