I wanted to take the words back as soon as I said them. He looked surprised, although I couldn't blame him. I got up quickly from my spot on the couch and turned my back to him, my heart was racing. I needed him to say something, but even if he did, I doubt I would hear him over the pounding of my heart that was deafening in my ears.

"I'm not sure what you want me to say, (Y/n)."

"I don't know what I want you to say either.." That was a lie. I knew exactly what I wanted him to say.

"Well then what do you want me to do?" I couldn't read the tone of his voice. It was so foreign.

"I don't know..." I tried to keep back the tears that kept fighting to spill over.

He was quite. It scared me so much. All of this was too much for me to handle on my own.

"Are you going to stay with me?"

He still didn't say anything. I heard him get up from his spot on the couch, the fear of him walking out was crippling me. I couldn't raise a child by myself, but the thought of giving them up tore me apart.

A warmth pulled me out of the darkness that was engulfing me. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me close to his chest. "What kind of question is that? Of course I am staying with you." I smiled at his words and leaned into him. "I was so scared you were going to leave...." I mumbled. He let out a light chuckle.

We laid in the darkness of my room, limbs tangled together under the blankets. I closed my eyes and sighed and I laid pressed against him. The occasional car passing by sending streaks of light across us .

"Are you still awake?" His voice broke the quiet that had settled over us. I hummed and looked up at him. "I know this isn't very formal, but how would you feel about getting married?" I smiled. "I would love that." I leaned up and pressed my lips against his.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Epilogue: 4 years later

"MOMMMMM DADDDDDD IT SNOWED COME LOOK!" Foot steps padded down the hallway, and soon the door busted open. After another moment the weight shifted on the bed as a small boy launched himself onto Gray.

I laughed as Gray groaned as the little boy laid over him. "Dad get up! I want to play in the snowwwww!" Kouta whined as he bounced up and down on Gray. I laughed at the scene that was playing out beside me.

"How about we make breakfast and then go outside to play?" I reasoned with the toddler. He nodded his head quickly and jumped off the bed. "I will be out in a minute." I said as he ran out and back down the hall.

"Good Morning." I smiled over at Gray, who was now awake. "Morning." He said as he yawned. I cuddled closer to him as he wrapped his arms around me. He pressed his lips to my forehead as I closed my eyes.

"Thank you, for everything." Whispered as I looked into his dark eyes that made me fall in love every time. I smiled as our lips met for the thousandth time.

"Ewww Gross." Our son giggled from the door way.
