(Y/N POV)

I was dumbly smiling after I closed my door and just leaned against it. I couldn't remember the last time I felt like this for someone, it had to be years. My phone buzzing brought me out of my daze, I opened it up to see a message from (F/n).

(F/n)- How did the date go?

Me- It wasn't a date, and it went good.

(F/n)- Is there a second not date?

Me- Maybe, I don't know?

It was a minute later when she called. "Hel-?" She cut me off, "I want to hear everything, it isn't every day when you go on a date.~" She teased, almost in a motherly way. Not like I would know what that sounds like. I went on to explain everything that happened on the maybe date as she would interject with occasional comments. The it struck me, "When would be a good time to text him?" I voiced my question, hoping the more experienced one on the other side would enlighten me. "Let him text you first, you don't want to look needy." She sounded confident in her answer so I decided to go with it. "Okay, got it." We continued to talk for a little longer until she had something to do. Saying my parting, 'See you later' I hung up.

*9:00pm Gray POV*

I had just walked up to my section of the bar and started wiping down when Natsu started to question. "Sooooo... I heard you had a date?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me and smiled. I just rolled my eyes, "It wasn't a date, and how did you even hear about it?" He just laughed, "Lucy saw you two. Anyways, who is the girl?" I just ignored his million questions about my possibly developing love life.

It was a few hours later and I was sitting in the back on break when Natsu came in. I held in a sigh as I continued looking at my phone. He continued to pester me about (Y/N). I eventually gave up. "Why do you care so much?" He just laughed, "Because, as many girls you reject that constantly hit on you I thought you might just be gay." I glared at him. He just went on to give me dating advice that I didn't ask for.

After my shift Natsu came up to me again. "There is a job downstairs and I want you to take it with me." He smiled to sell his offer. "No, I don't feel like taking any jobs." I declined his offer and he frowned. "Come on, it will only take a week or so." The flame mage pleaded. "No." I declined again. "How about this, if I can drink more than you then you have to take the mission with me." I knew the dangerous game he was playing and how it would end. For some reason I still took him up on his offer and headed downstairs with him.

After many rounds off different types of drinks, Natsu was basically unaffected while I was way beyond the point of no return. I leaned forward and put my head on the bar and closed my eyes, fighting the feelings of nausea. "I guess that means I win." He smiled triumphantly."Natsu, help Gray home. I don't think he can walk by himself in that state." Erza had instructed as she stood up to leave.

(Natsu POV)

Too scared to go against Erza, I did as she said and put one of his arms around my shoulder, helping him up. I basically drug him out of the guild and towards his building. It wasn't a long walk, but that always doubles when you are having to drag dead weight.

After many flights of steps, we had finally made it to his apartment. As I tried to turn the knob, I felt a small piece of my soul die when it didn't budge. "Gray, let me see your key." He didn't respond. "Gray." I said his name again only to get a small groan in response. I stuck my hand in his back pocket, and then his other, only to find his phone and wallet. I felt the outside of both front pockets, but they too were bare. Knowing I couldn't just dump him in the hall and walking back downstairs wasn't a choice, I didn't know what to do with him. And the it hit me.

*2:00am (Y/N POV)*

The sound of knocking pulled me out of my light sleep. My neck was sore from the strange position I was in from falling asleep at my desk. I yawned and stretched out as another set of knocks rapped on my door. I tiredly walked to the door and opened it. A tall boy with salmon pink hair, dressed in a Fairy Tail uniform, stood there holding up Gray, who appeared to be passed out.
