Chapter 28

I woke up in the morning like nothing happened. All I could think about is what Matt said last night. I didn't know who he was but yeah! I just let a stranger inside my room!

It was like...Yeah just go on. It's not like you're robbing me...I mean, who robs a house after knocking the door right? But besides! I feel quite comforted with that person.

It's just 7:43 am in the morning but I decided to go out to the mall to have some fresh air and unwind of everything. I went to the bathroom and did my daily routines.

I didn't take a bath yet because it's quite too early. I just washed my face and brushed my teeth then chose clothes. Since it's the rainy seasons, I wore plain reversible jeans, matched with a pink sweater. I also wore my favorite headband on. It was just like little bunny ears.

I wore my Converse shoes--which was probably just plain white. I brought an umbrella in case. So I went out to go to the mall.

But I still couldn't help but think about that one thing...

Matt's POV

I woke up after visiting Amerie in her dreams last night. I stood up and sat on the floor to relax my legs who were bent the whole night in this...jail.

Yes, I got caught. And yes, I couldn't help but keep silent because Edrich might do what he said he was going to do. And I'm scared of seeing him successful.

I was stretching my body when the school guards went inside and pulled me by my arms...rather aggressively and it hurts...so much.

"Come with us. Faster!" They continued to pull me but with an even harder force which felt like...my arms were gonna rip of anytime at this moment which doesn't seem so good.

Moments later after that rather-aggresive-pulling-my-arms thing, we came to a dark and smelly room. If it wasn't dark, I could've thought this was a torture room or something.

But maybe it isn't. Maybe I won't die because probably my father won't let it happen.

But when they lit up the torches? My gosh it wasn't supposed to be like this! I don't want to die yet and I haven'thad a chance to see my love's bare face!

I don't want to die yet!

They started to get some tools and started to hit me everywhere!

"Ah! S-stop it p-please." I begged weakly at them, but they said nothing. They continously hit me everywhere. I was bleeding everywhere. I had scratches and wounds. I wanted to give up and say, "Why don't you kill me now?!" But I can't.

I still wanted to see her. I still wanted to hug her. I still wanted to live my life with my love and my family! But again, I can't take it anymore!

So I did what I should do...

Amerie's POV

I'm here at a photoshop here at the mall. I went here because I actually liked photography. There were cameras, printers, photo papers, inks, and other things which are probably used for producing photos.

I am so amazed by seeing different sets of cameras! There were cameras which comes with a package, that comes with the camera film, and other stuff to style up the photos.

But something really catched my attention. It wasn't a product nor another shop. It was a guy who was smiling at me from the corner of the store. He waved at me so I waved back.

Minutes later I saw him walking towards me. He kept walking and walking until we were just a ruler apart. The shop was quite long.

But despite the strange atmosphere covering us, he still went closer. But then...

"I'm Edrich."

Angela's POV

It's been a few days since i've realized that Amerie hasn't been around. I didn't know why but I had a bad feeling about it. Especially when Matt was caught for some mixed-up things we don't know.

Oh yeah! You know what happened at the party?

Flashback:

Amerie and Matt left me there so quick that I didn't have time ask them why they left me alone. I was left there panicking when someone grabbed me by the hand.

I didn't have time to argue with him when he pulled me outside. We went running and running for about thirty minutes when we reached the middle of the hallways.

He stopped pulling me but then he was about to walk away from me when he stopped and said, "Please take care of yourself, Angelica."

He continued to walk away and went running. I was dumbfounded by what happened so I didn't notice that the ruckus from inside has stopped about 5 minutes ago...

Who was that?
