Chapter 4

Dani's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning in a room that was unfamiliar. Then it all came rushing back to me and I grinned. Santana. I ran out of the guest bedroom, which was basically four curtains. I walked out in my pyjamas and found the kitchen. Santana was there with her back to me making coffee. She has a short, black silk gown on that reached halfway down her thighs, a tank top and very short shorts. I stood in the doorway, gaping at her. She's so beautiful. She started humming a song and dancing round the kitchen. By this time, my jaw was basically on the floor. She spun around. "How long have you been there?" She asked, her face flushed red and I grinned. "A while" I said with a flirtatious smile. "Oh" She said, looking down, her face grew even redder. "Just to let you know, that was so hot" I blurted and clasped a hand over my mouth, but it was too late. My face reddened and she smirked, "You're not so bad yourself" she said with a wink, grabbed her coffee and walked to her room. I stood there, not believing what just happened.

I regained control of my body and walked towards the room I was sleeping in. I changed into my skinny jeans and ripped shirt I had. It was all I had. I must go shopping. I walked out my room and saw San sat on the couch. "Hey" I said, "Hiya" She replied, waving a little. "I have work today" she said, that kinda upset me, I wanted to spend the day with her. "I need to find work" I mumbled. She jumped up, making me jump, "God, San. What was that?" I cried, "You can work! Where I work! Gunther would let you! Please Dani. Please, please!" She begged, I wasn't about to say no to spending as much time getting to know her as I could, so I nodded, smiling. "YAY!" she cried. Rachel ran out with a baseball bat in her hand, her hair a mess and she was half dressed, in sweats, with no top on. Both me and San burst into laughter, "Who's dying?" She asked, that made us laugh harder. "What?" she asked, confused, "Rach, you're missing something" San said, hysterical, Rachel looked down and went red, "Oops" she said, embarrassed. "Wait, why did you scream Santana?" she asked, her face still burning as she was trying to cover herself up, "Dani's going to work at the diner" San said, I smiled, and so did Rachel. "Thats great!" She said enthusiastically. I looked her up and down, and I noticed San did too. "Damn Berry" San said, I laughed, "What?" Rachel said, "You're hot" I said for Santana. Rachel blushed and ran to her room shouting "Shut up" and laughing. I laughed. "She's cool" I said to Santana, "Yeah" She replied.

About an hour later, we walked into the diner. San went to her locker and I stood at the counter. A man with dark hair walked out, "Are you Dani?" he asked, I nodded, "Follow me" He said, I followed him to a small office, "Take a seat" he said, I sat, "Dani, do you have any experience in diners?" He said, I shook my head, "Well, I guess we'll have to find you a mentor then" He said, smiling. "Who here do you know?" He asked, "Santana, Rachel and Kurt" I replied, smiling when I said San's name. "Ahh, my main 3, do you sing Dani?" He asked, I nodded. "I play guitar too" I said, proudly. "Welcome to the diner, I need singers, just wait on everyone, and sing if people look bored" He said, I laughed and he joined in. "I think I will choose your mentor now" He said, and walked out the office, I silently prayed for San. "I'm sure you two will get along wonderfully, just follow her around and she'll teach you the ropes" He said from behind me. I turned around and grinned, San was standing behind me. I stood up and Gunther handed me my uniform. I walked into the toilet, changed, and walked out to meet Santana. "Damn" She whispered, "What? Does it look terrible. I shouldn't have done this, oh my god. I bet I look-" She cut me off, "Dani, you look hot" She said, I smiled and blushed, walking out to start my new job.

"Dani" Gunther called, "You're up" he said and pointed to the stage, I smiled and grabbed my guitar, I have only been here for 4 hours and he's already letting me sing. My heart started beating fast when I saw San stood, talking to Rachel, with her back to me. I took a deep breath and started strumming.

Santana's P.O.V

A guitar started strumming on the stage. I continued talking to Rachel, until I heard the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. I spun around and saw her, I gasped. She started singing.

She finished, oh my god. My jaw was on the ground, she was amazing, she is amazing. She smiled over at me and I smiled back. She's like an angel. My angel.
