Chapter 17

Dani's P.O.V

Thats exactly how I woke up the next morning, wrapped up in Santana's arms. She had her arm wrapped around my waist and her hand was resting on my lower back. I lay still so I wouldn't wake her, and studied every inch of her face. I let my eyes wander over every perfection and imperfection on her perfect face, from her jaw, to the slight dimple on her cheek, to her flawless, tanned skin..I let my mind go and it drifted to thoughts of my insane, unique, completely and utterly beautiful girlfriend. I studied her eyelashes and her eyes fluttered open. She smiled and my heart jumped, I couldn't help but smile back, her smile is contagious. Her eyes flickered down to my lips, and back to my eyes. I understood and grinned..leaning forwards and kissing her lips lightly. I was about to pull away when she slowly placed her hand on my cheek and kissed me back, I felt the familiar feeling in my stomach and my heart felt like it was on fire..forget sparks, forget fireworks..I felt a war raging through my body from a single touch. She placed her hand on my hip and my body reacted to her touch, goosebumps raising on my skin, she smiled into the kids and drew light circles on my waist. I pulled back and looked at her. She stared at me.."You are so beautiful Dani" she whispered. My face flushed and I averted my gaze, she tilted my chin to force me to look at her. I met her gaze and she smiled. "You are beautiful, baby" she said..I grinned, I like her calling me that. She laughed and kissed me once more, quickly, before rolling backwards and off the bed. She walked to the door and turned around, backing out, holding my gaze.

As soon as she left the room I fell back on the bed, sighing. I smiled to myself and closed my eyes, eventually becoming unconscious as I fell asleep once more.

"Dani..Dani..Baby wake up" San whispered, stroking my cheek. I opened my eyes and smiled at her. "Hey" I said, my voice hoarse. "Goodmorning beautiful" she whispered. I smiled, I like these names she is calling me..baby, and beautiful. "You're being very cute today" I said, and she smiled.."Anything to make you happy" she said..smiling slightly. I rolled my eyes and smirked at her, she laughed and got up off the bed..walking out, I sighed and got up.

I walked into the kitchen and stopped in my tracks. I stared in awe at the sight in front of me. Santana was cooking? And dancing around the kitchen? In nothing but a t-shirt and underwear. Oh. My jaw dropped. "I..Uh..I, I just..urm" I stuttered. She spun around and smirked at me, "You okay there Dani?" She said, spinning back round.."I, urm..uh..yeah?" I stuttered again, what is happening to me? I rolled my eyes and walked towards her, spinning her around and pinning her against the side. "Don't, do that..unless you want this food you're cooking to burn..baby" I breathed in her ear, and her breathing sped up, I smirked, "Thats what I thought" I said and brushed her waist before turning around and walking off.
