Chapter 11

Santana's P.O.V

Wait, what? Dani just asked if I wanted to be her girlfiriend! "Yes, yes, yes, yes, of course Dani" I said happily. She smiled and pulled me into a hug. I hugged her back. I stayed in her arms for a while and she was drawing circles on my arm. "Thankyou San" she said quietly, "For what?" I asked, confused. "For telling me, about your Abuela, and your insecurities" She said, I nodded. "San, you are so beautiful" She said, making me smile and blush. "As are you" I replied and she smiled. "Do you want to go swimming?" Dani asked me. I smiled, "Sure" I said, "But Dani, we don't have any costumes" I said, confused, but she just looked at me, smirking. "We don't need costumes, we have underwear" She said, smiling. I smirked and laughed. "San, can you help me?" She said, gesturing to the back of her dress. I nodded and walked over to her. I unzipped the back of her dress, my finger grazing along the skin on her back, she shivered and goosebumps started to form, I smiled at her reaction to my touch. She stepped forwards and slipped her dress off, laying it on the floor. She had a black bra on with black lace and matching pants. I stared at her, my eyes scanned her whole body and my jaw fell open. She is so beautiful. I can't match up to that. "Stop staring San, and close your mouth, you'll catch flies" she said with a wink, I laughed and pulled my shoes off. "Dani, please help?" I said, she walked over and grazed her fingers from my hairline on my neck to the zipper on my dress, I shivered and I felt her kiss my shoulder, leaving goosebumps. I smiled. She unzipped my dress and turned me around to face her. I slowly slid my dress down. I pulled it all the way down and off, and lay it on a rock nearby. When I turned around, Dani was gaping at me, her eyes travelling up and down my body nonstop. I walked over to her. "You are so beautiful" she breathed, "How did I get so lucky?", I laughed, and softly grazed her lips with mine before pulling away, "Thankyou, and so are you. I'm the lucky one" I said, running my hand up her arm. She giggled and looked me in the eyes. "Honestly San, you are such a tease" she said, winking, before launching herself off the ledge into the water below. "Come on you" she shouted, laughing, I jumped in, screaming because the water was cold! "That was hot" she said, staring at me. I threw my head back in laughter at her bluntness, she started laughing too. We swam until it got dark and we got cold and then we got out. We put our dresses back on and lay in the meadow under the stars. Dani reached her hand out and interlocked our fingers. I smiled, her hand felt right in mine. She turned her head and looked at me, "What?" she said, referring to my smile. "Your hand, it feels... right.. in my hand, like it was meant to be" I said, blushing, she smiled, "Tell me about it" she said, sighing, "Now, I can finally call you mine, I've wanted nothing more from the moment I met you" She said, looking into my eyes. "You mean so much to me." I stated, "Dani, I've never felt this way about anyone. Not even Brittany, I thought I loved her, and I did, at the time. But my feeling for her then are nothing compared to my feelings for you now" I said sincerely, sitting up and pulling her with me. I leaned forwards and locked our lips. They fit  perfectly. Like a puzzle. We kissed slowly and passionately for a while, until we needed to breathe. Neither of us wanted to ruin this moment, so we went slow. I laid back and she rested her head on my chest. We snuggled up together, staring at the stars. "I dont know what will become of this.. us." I said, "But I can tell you, I have never felt happier than I do in this moment" 

I woke up the next morning with a smile on my face. I got dressed, slowly, waking myself up in the process. Then I walked into the room opposite to wake up my girlfriend. I like the sound of that. I crept in and stared down at her sleeping body. She looks so peaceful when she sleeps, like she's dreaming. I wonder what she's dreaming about. I slid on the bed next to her and placed my hand under her chin, stroking her cheek with my thumb. "Dani, baby, wake up" I cooed, and she slowly opened her eyes, smiling up at me. "Good morning baby" I said, smiling down at her, kissing her forehead. "I like that" she said, "Like what?" I asked, "You, calling me baby" She said, smiling. I smiled down at her, "Me too, baby" I said, making her grin. "Now, get up, we have work" I said, getting up off the bed. "But San.. lie here with me, please?" She said, making her eyes go big like an innocent child. That is so adorable. "Dani, we have work" I said, giggling at her face. "Fine" she said, I laughed and left her to get changed. 

I walked into the kitchen with a smile on my face. "Someone's happy" Rachel said, looking up from her breakfast and smiling. "Thats me" I said, also smiling, "Let me guess... Dani is your girlfriend?" She said, I looked at her shocked. "How?" I asked, "Dani, she told me yesterday" Rachel said, smiling again. She had that weird smile on her face that she uses when she's really happy for someone. She came up and hugged me, "Im glad, being honest" she said, "Why?" I asked, "Because, she's good for you. Plus, you two are adorable together!" she squealed, making me blush. She walked over to finish eating her breakfast just as I felt a pair of arms go around my waist. I smiled, "Hey there" I said, "Hey, baby" she whispered in my ear, making me tense. I felt her smile against my shoulder and remove her arms from around my waist. "Hey Rachel" she said, casually. "Good morning Dani" she said, happily. I smiled, "what are you smiling about?" Dani asked, "Just the fact that my two faviroute girls in the world are getting along really well" I said, happily, they both 'aww'ed and got back to what they was doing. Five minutes later, Dani handed me a coffee. "Thanks, baby" I said, she smiled, "No problem".

We got to work earlier than usual so nobody was here yet. I put my stuff in the back, and walked out and sat at the counter. Dani came up behind me. I smiled at her, hopped down off the stool. I walked up to her, pecked her lips. Then, I walked off and started cleaning tables ready for the morning shift. Rachel put some money in the jukebox and pushed play, and some music started playing. I looked around, and thats when I realised someone was missing. "Rach, where's Kurt?" I said, "Lima, he went back a week ago to visit his dad" she said, I nodded, how did I not notice? I started dancing around the diner when somebody walked in. I didnt realise who it was at first, but when I saw their face, I did a double take. I gasped and grinned, "Q!" I yelled and ran to her, hugging her tightly, "Oh my god i've missed you so much!" I said. "I've missed you too, San" she said, smiling. I grinned.

Dani's P.O.V

I was in the back, grabbing some stuff when I heard San yell, curious, I walked out to find her hugging a tall, skinny blonde. "Oh my god i've missed you so much!" San said happily. "I've missed you too, San" she said, with a smile, I suddenly became jealous. I grabbed the cleaning things and started cleaning tables near them, listening. "And when was you going to tell me this?" the blonde yelled, I looked up, "Sorry, Q" San said, laughing. Oh great, a nickname. That makes me so happy. Note the sarcasm. I carried on cleaning until I heard my name. I looked up and San was looking at me. "Dani, will you come here for a second please baby?" she asked, I walked over to where her and the blonde was stood. "Q, this is my girlfriend Dani. Dani, this is Quinn, my bitch of a bestfriend" San said, smirking at Quinn as her arm made its way around my waist. I smiled at Quinn, and she smiled back, "Nice to meet you, Dani. Ive heard nothing about you, considering that" she said pointing to San "Never bothered to call" she glared at San but smiled at me, "You too" I said back, laughing. After another 10 or so minutes of talking, Quinn left and I walked off, cleaning tables. She seemed like a nice girl. And she's San's bestfriend, so I dont have to worry about her taking Santana away from me. Im glad Santana has someone other than me and Rachel. Santana came up behind me, and snaked her arms around my waist, kissing the back of my head. "San, were at work" I said, chuckling. "I dont care, you are my girlfriend, if I want to do this, I will. And now I actually can, i'm not going to stop" she said, I smiled and turned around in her arms. I planted a kiss on her lips. "You're amazing" I said. "As are you" she said.

When we got home, I went straight to my room and changed into something that was alot more comfortable. I put on my sweats and an old shirt. I turned around and San was stood there without a shirt on. "Can I borrow one of your shirts?" she asked, "Why?" I asked, suspiciously, "I want to smell like you" she said, blushing, "Alright baby, here" I said, throwing an old shirt at her. She pulled it over her head and smelled it. I smiled, she's just so adorable. I walked over and picked her up by her waist spinning her around. She was laughing, and it sounded like music to my ears. Her laugh was perfect. I put her down and picked her up again, but this time, I picked her up bridal style. She squealed and locked her arms around my neck, I dipped my head and kissed her quickly before walking out and setting us both on the sofa. She laid back and I laid my head on her chest, sighing. We watched Grease for a while, but after a bit, her breathing slowed. I looked up at her and saw she was asleep. She looked so angelic. She's so beautiful. I got comfortable and closed my eyes, falling into a peaceful sleep.
