Chapter 12

Santana's P.O.V

-2 Weeks later-

I've been with Dani for 2 weeks. Its been the best 2 weeks of my entire life. I'm sat at home, watching the TV when I hear a knock on the door. I walked to the door, expecting it to be Dani, but why would she knock? I pulled the door open and gasped, my eyes filling with tears. "Britt" I said, quietly, "Hi, San" she said, I stepped backwards, "Britt, you- you can't just show up here! I've worked my ass off to get over you. You, being here. It will ruin that, I can't go through that again Britt" I said, tears streaming down my face. "I know" She said, smiling sympathetically at me. "San, I'm not here to get you back or anything. I miss my best friend. I need you to be my best friend now San." She said, her eyes filling with tears also. I pulled her into a hug. "What happened Britt?" I asked, softly, rubbing her back. "Sam" She said, I tensed at his name, he stole Britt from me. "What did he do now?" I ask, angry. "Cheated on me" she said, completely breaking down. "Shh" I said, holding here while she cried. It felt too familiar. And I liked it.. too much. I couldn't though. I'm with Dani. I love her. Yeah... I love her. But i'm only being a friend to Britt. She needs one. I grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the apartment with me, "Quinn is here, we should go see her" I said, and she nodded.

Dani's P.O.V

"San!" I shouted into the dark apartment. "Santana!" I said, worriedly. I walked through the hall trying to find her and flipped on a couple of lights along the way. I walked to my room and changed out of uniform. I felt a pair of arms go around my waist. "Hey baby" I said, softly, "Hey" San whispered. I turned around, "Where was you? You didn't leave a message, I was worried" I said, she looked guilty. "Where was you San?" I said, "Um, I saw an old friend.. earlier. And we, we talked" She said, "Oh, who?" I asked, she looked down. "Britt" she said, carefully. "Britt.. Brittany?" I asked, then it hit me, "Brittany, your ex?" I said, jealousy coursing through my veins. She nodded. "Oh" I said, quietly. She looked at me, waiting for me to blow up I guess. "San, i'm not going to get angry at you for something like that! Its not like you kissed her or anything. You didn't, did you?" I asked, "No! Of course not!" she said, I nodded and she pulled me to her, she wrapped her arms around my next and pressed her lips on mine. I kissed her back, passionately. She slid her tongue across my bottom lip, I teased her and kept my mouth closed. She looked at me, I smirked into the kiss. She did it again and I gave in. She slid her tongue in my mouth. I groaned. Her kiss made me go weak at the knees. I held onto her shoulders to keep me standing and her hands rested on my hips. One of her hands grazed up my back to the bottom of my neck, causing me to moan. She chuckled and moved her lips to my neck. I moved her head to give her more access. She sucked on one place on my neck for a while, and pulled away, admiring her work. I looked down and saw a purplish mark. "Santana!" I exclaimed, she laughed and pulled me into a hug. "God.. I love you" She said, I pulled back, shocked. "You do?" I said, slowly. She nodded. My eyes filled with tears and she kissed them away as they fell. "I- I love you too Santana Marie Lopez" I said, she eyed me curiously. "How do you know my middle name?" She asked, "I have my ways" I said, mysteriously, winking at her. She rolled her eyes, "But I cant talk, Danielle Layla Hendrickson" She said, smirking. My jaw dropped. I never tell anyone my middle name, I just say I don't have one. Only my parents, my brother and sister know my middle name. "How the hell do you know that?" I asked, shocked. "I have my ways" She said, mimicking me. I laughed at her. She giggled. "Your laugh is so cute!" She exclaimed. I blushed and hid my face in her neck. She moved my head away, "So is your blush!" She said, laughing. "Shut up" I said, pouting at her. "That. Is adorable" She said, staring at me, "Why thank you" I said, before running off. She followed me, running after me. I'm giggling like an idiot and I can hear her laughing. I reach my room and run in. I don't hear her anymore. I stopped and listened. Suddenly, I felt myself being lifted off the floor and I was carried through to San's room. "Santana! Put me down!" I squealed, she was laughing. She placed me down on the bed. I stared up at her. She smiled down at me, and started tickling me, I was caught by surprise and I squealed. I was in fits of laughter, and it was getting harder to breathe. "S-san.. breathe.. I, cant.. cant breathe" I said, between giggles, she stopped and I breathed heavily. She laughed at me. I looked around, "I must ask, Miss Lopez. Why did you bring me in here?" I ask, curiously. "So I can do this" She said, kissing me passionately, pressing her body against mine. "I, love, you" She said between kisses. "I love you also" I said, she smiled and stopped kissing me. I whimpered, but sat up. She walked to her wardrobe. "I have something for you" She said, I smiled as she took out a guitar. She sat next to me and started strumming it.

I felt tears streaming down my face. I looked up and stared deep into her eyes. "That was beautiful" I said before kissing her, passionately. I couldn't explain the feeling to her, so I poured it into the kiss. I pulled back. "I love you so much" I said, "I love you also" She said, hugging me, I wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her as close to me as humanly possible. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
