Chapter 15

Dani's P.O.V

"Cammie" I breathed, when she awnsered the door. I fell into her arms, sobbing. She rubbed my back, "Shhh" she comforted. I eventually stopped crying and she took me through to the lounge. I saw Ryan sat on the floor playing with his toys. "Da-mi" he said slowly, frowning. Its like he could sense something wrong. I've never met a baby quite like him. I ran forwards and scooped him up in my arms, crying. He touched my face. "No, Da-mi" he said, patting my face. He stroked my cheek. "Happy, Da-mi" he said. He's smart for a 1 year old. I grab his hands. "Thank you, Ryan" I said, softly. He grinned at me, looking up at me with his big green eyes. I smiled, he instantly made me feel better. I looked up at Cam and she was staring in wonder. "He's never spoke like that before!" she exclaimed. I smiled, "Its you, Dan. He adores you. I dont know what it is, but he adores you." she said, happily. I looked at the baby boy that had fallen asleep in my arms, and smiled down at him. I feel a connection to him. Its weird. But its strong. He stirred so I started humming the tune to the song San sung to Rachel when the Brody thing happened. A tear slowly fell down my face and landed on his nose. He opened his eyes and looked at me. "No, Da-mi. Happy Da-mi. Ry love Da-mi" he said, messing up the words a bit but it was enough to make me smile. "Dani loves Ryan too" I said, he lay back down and I carried on humming, he fell asleep, with a smile on his face. "Youd be great with a child" Cam said, smiling, I nodded. "Always wanted one" I said, smiling and thinking of San. I can't go on without her. But she lashed out. Oh I dont know what to do.

I lay in bed, thinking about Santana. I miss her. I miss her breathing putting me to sleep. I miss her smell of vanilla that always made me smile. I miss her soft hair. Her perfect skin. Her. Everything. I sat bolt upright. I grabbed my song book and started writing. I like to write songs when Im upset. Its away of getting my feelings out, I guess. I finally finish and smile at the page. I fall asleep without trouble.

"Dani" I hear Cam say, "Hm?" I say, "You have a visitor" she says. I look up at Ryan in her arms, I smile at him. "Dami!" he said, smiling. "Morning Ry" I say, he hugs me tightly. "Happy today. Dami" he says firmly, I nod, "Yes, Ry. Dani's happy today" I say, Cam looks at me shocked. "I have a way to work it out Cam" I say, she smiles and nods. "Promise to visit?" she asks, "Course" I say, smiling.

I grab my keys and walk to the door. "Cam, Ry?" I call, they both come running, well, Ryan toddles, towards me, I bend down and hug Ryan first. "Rejected" Cam says, laughing. I laugh and hold Ryan in my arms. "See you soon Ry" I say. "Ry see Dami, gain" he asks, "Course!" I say happily, he giggles and places a kiss on my cheek. I put him down and he toddles off. "Thanks Cammie" I say. "Its alright" she says, hugging me. "Call me?" she says, I nod and head out of the door.

I arrive at where I need to be. I know she's here. Its her day to work. I have the day off today but I have to tell her how I'm feeling. I walk in and see Rachel, she looks at me shocked. I press my finger to my lips, signaling her to be silent. She gives a slight nod and I smile. I walk towards the stage and sit. I sit at the piano and speak into the microphone. "Um, hello. My name is Dani. And I really have to get this off my chest. I wrote this song for the love of my life. Even though I've not known you for long. It feels like eternity. This is for you, San." I say, she spins around at the sound of my voice, she looks shocked and I smile and start playing.

I look up from the piano and see Santana. There a tears streaming down her face. She smiles at me and I smile back. "I, love you. So much" I say into the mic and the whole diner bursts into applause. I smile and get up. Walking to the edge of the stage. I look at her, she walks up to me. I look into her eyes. "Santana, what you did was wrong. You cant lash out at me like that. Seriously. You have to trust me." I say calmly, she looks at me. "I know Dani. Im so sorry. I was wrong. I do trust you. But I had a bad day. Im so sorry" she says, she is crying. "San, I cant live without you" I say and pull her to me, kissing her lips passionately. I smile into the kiss. This is good.
