39. Apologies

We were not far from the school building.
Walking hand in hand, like couples do.
There weren't much students walking outside the school gates but when we reached them we could hear the loud voices of the students.

Almost immediately after seeing a student, Yoongi pulled out his hand and tried to fast-walk to our hangout.
I scoffed and caught up with him.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him into the direction of the school entry.
"You wimp. I can't believe there are rumors about you guys, saying that you're bad boys and shit."

"Hyoju..." he whimpered while tugging on his hand.

"Nuh-uh honey. You're staying with me for what you've done yesterday." I continued dragging him as the students started to watch us.
"Do you know where Taetae is?"
I asked, stopping and turning to Yoongi.

He thought for a moment before he tilted his head to look behind me.
"He's over there."
He nodded into the direction.

I turned and saw Taehyung walking down the hall while everyone made room for him.
I could easily run over to him with the space they made.
"Do you think he'll catch me?"

"Catch you?" Yoongi's head turned to me.
"No. Hyoju, don't do tha-"

Before he could even finish I let go of his hand, pushed my things into him and started running towards Taehyung.
I yelled his name and he turned around, finally seeing me, running over at him.
His eyes sparkled and he let his things fall.

When I reached him he grabbed me by my waist and lifted me up, doing the dirty dancing move.
He turned a few times before he set me down and we both hugged.

"I actually just wanted to jump into your arms and see if you'd catch me." I laughed. "I didn't think I'd get the whole package."

"Well, since Yoongi Hyung is your boyfriend, someone has to take over those parts." He giggled and hugged me tighter.

"Thanks, for your sacrifice." We both turned our heads to the side to see Yoongi standing there with my things.
We just grinned at him.
Yoongi nodded at me and looked me in the eyes.

My mouth went agape and I looked back at Taehyung.
"Taetae, I'm sorry for yesterday." I said burying my face back into his chest.
"I was in a bad mood and this asshole was being an asshole and I just- I'm sorry."

He rubbed my back and chuckled.
"It's fine. It did hurt but it wasn't your fault. It was Yoongi Hyung's."
I pushed away from him and smiled brightly.

"We're drawing so much attention to us right now and I very much do not like it." Yoongi grumbled, ignoring the things Taehyung said.

I took my things back from Yoongi and grabbed his hand again.
Taehyung looked at us amused.
"His punishment." I smirked. "Everywhere we go we have to hold hands because he was such a douche yesterday."

Taehyung laughed and walked away to his class after waving at us.
I walked with Yoongi to his class and saw Hoseok sitting at his table already.
I waved at him and he waved back, a bit surprised.

He looked over to Yoongi and asked something after receiving a nod he laughed.
"I knew it was the hair!"
Everyone turned at Hoseok questionable.
He looked at me and I just grinned, shaking my head.

I left the class and bumped into Jungkook.
Okay, what the hell?
Is Jimin and Jin gonna jump out of some corner as well? Because I'm seeing Namjoon in class, meaning I would've seen everyone in the morning.

I apologized to Jungkook as well as we walked down the hallway.
He brought me to my classroom before continuing his way to his class.

I'm not gonna lie, the attention I'm getting is immense.
Especially after that incident from yesterday.
I entered the class and saw Jane and Namjoon sitting at their desks.

I sighed, why won't she be friends with them? Who cares about stupid rumors.

I walked up to Namjoon's desk and leaned on it.
"Hey Joon."

He looked at me surprised. "Hey Ju?"

"Look, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday, Yoongi was an ass and I was pissed." I tried to explain.

He smiled and shook his head. "It's fine. I completely understand." He chuckled. "I wouldn't be able to handle him even a day and here you are putting up with his shit for a long time."

I chuckled softly and ruffled his hair. "Thanks Joon. I feel better now."

He smiled and I went to my seat.
"Jane, sorry for being a bit distant in the past few days."

She laughed and pulled attention to us.
"My god Hyoju! It's fine. It's nothing. Friends can go without talking for a few days as well, as long as they get back together." She smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up.

"Jaaneee~ you're the best~" I made aegyo and she cringed. We laughed and turned our attention to the teacher that walked in.

It was middle in the class when Jane threw a small paper over to my desk.
I looked at her confused and she just mentioned to the paper.
After looking up at the teacher who was oblivious I opened the paper.

'Hyoju, I started clearing up
all those rumors and that mess
about the boys. Ik I'm not friends
with them and I don't have to do that,
but you are my friend and I see that
they are close to you and they are good
people. So I started to get rid of those
rumors that are ghosting around the
school. With you being openly in a relationship with Yoongi and showing
everyone how they treat you and so on,
I'm pretty sure that the rumors will be gone in just a few days. :)
Ps. There's pizza today at the canteen'

I looked up from the long ass text with a smile. That was so Jane. Talking about something serious and then just jump back to food.
With a glance at the teacher I turned to Jane and smiled brightly at her.

"Thanks a lot, for everything." I said to her and she smiled back, with the same enthusiasm.

And well, at lunch we all went to the canteen, we all as in, the boys, Jane and I.
I literally dragged all of them into the canteen together.
Jane because she didn't want to be with the boys, and the boys because they didn't want to be in the canteen.

As we entered the canteen there were gasps and shocked faces with whispers here and there.
In summery, they were questioning their presence in the canteen and the rumors about them, since Jane was starting to clear them up, dunno how she's doing it but I'm just gonna leave it to her.

We sat down on a table. Jane and Yoongi beside me and the boys sat wherever was room.
And just like that, we started to become closer friends, the nine of us, and started coming to the canteen more often.
