"He likes you." Imber giggled down the phone.

"Calum Hood does not like me." For the past hour she had been trying to convince me that Calum had feelings for me, except I was determined to prove her wrong. "Can we please move on?" It had been a week since I last saw, or even talked to him, at Dream World so the chances of her being right were highly unlikely.

"You're in denial. He's never looked at a girl like he looked at you. But whatever, you got any plans for tonight?" Relieved she finally changed the subject I sighed.

"Yeah I got loads of people wanting to hang out with me." I laughed at myself; it was something I did a lot when I used sarcasm.

"You're so funny." Her tone just as sarcastic as mine. That was one thing I appreciated about Imber, she understood my sarcasm and gave it right back. "But Michael's friend is having a house party tonight.. You interested in coming?" My ears pricked up at the word of a party. A smile creeping across my lips.

"Sure. No one's in at mine but can I stay at yours afterwards?" I jumped of the bed and started searching for something to wear.

"Okay, well I'll get Michael to pick you up at 7." The both of us said our goodbyes and seen as it was already 4pm I began to get ready.

I was ready by 6:30, deciding on a tight black dress and my white converse. I curled my hair at the ends and pushed it all to one side, making my parting scruffy and hardly noticeable. Of course I wanted to make a good first impression on anyone who was there but I didn't want to go all out. Just like Imber had said, Michael arrived at my house at exactly 7. Stepping out of my house and locking the door, I made my way towards his car.

On my way down I noticed the passenger door opening to reveal a familiar face.

"Isabelle, you're looking very beautiful." Luke walked around the car and lent against it, hands in his pockets.

"You don't look too bad yourself Lucas." He was wearing the same kind of black skinny jeans, but this time I noticed both knees has rips in them. His top half was sporting a red plaid shirt, which he topped off with a leather jacket and his usual black vans. I went to open the back door to which he stopped me,

"Do you really think I got out of the car just to greet you? Get in the front idiot." He smiled down at me, and I felt my cheeks growing warmer by the second. I bowed my head and ran around the front of the car, hopping in next to Michael. I looked over to him to say hello, but was quickly distracted by the amount of hickeys on his neck.

"Christ Michael, you look like you have a fucking disease!" I pushed his head sideways to inspect his neck better while he let out a loud laugh.

"I'm 18! I have my needs and so does Imber." He turned back towards me wiggling his eyebrows.

"Oh my god I'm scarred, never tell me about your needs or your sexual life with my best friend please." I tried to use my most disgusted tone, but it failed miserably. After picking Imber up from her house, we made our way to the party, arriving just after 7:30.

Michael parked the car down the street and the four of us headed up towards the house that was hosting the party. The front yard was scattered with people holding bottles or cups all full with alcohol. Finally feeling in my element since getting to Australia I smiled, following Imber, Luke and Michael into the house.

By 11 everyone was extremely drunk. People were either outside lounging on all the sun beds, in the pool or inside, completely lost in the rhythm of the music and letting the alcohol take over their mind. I was stood in a group with the usual three and another boy called Ollie. He was the one who was hosting the party, his hair was cut short on the back and sides with a small fringe covering his forehead. Like Luke and Michael he was very tall, so it was hard to make out most of his facial features with the little light too. From what I could see he had chocolate brown eyes and a scar going through his eyebrow. He'd known Michael since they were young, and he claimed Michael was the greatest friend he'd ever had.
