Chapter 9: Chit Chat

FINNS POV: "I won't tell you, I arranged a little chit-chat between you and Ben and it's tomorrow so you better be there Finn" Rey tells me as she hugs me and walks away. You've got to be KIDDING ME!!!, well if anything goes wrong I'll just punch him in the face... I've got to talk to Poe and Rose!! I rush to Poe's room and knock on the door, Poe answers the door and I tell him what happened. "Maybe there is good in Kylo Ren" "Seriously Poe... he killed his own father!!!" "And he has destroyed entire planets!!" "And he saved Rey's life" Poe says with a smirk. "Your... right but I'll still be careful with him" "Good luck Finn". I make my way to the control room and grab Rose and bring her to my room, "What is it Finn??", I also tell Rose everything and she looks at me with a concerned look and then says "Finn if Rey believes in Ben so can you, but I'm afraid I have to go now I have a meeting with General Organa, remember Finn stay calm". "Thanks Rose".

BENS POV: I was about to start eating dinner when Rey enters the room, "Finally you took forever.. what took you so long??", "I was speaking with Finn". "Oh" "Ben.. um I arranged a talk with someone because I think you two should talk" "Who my mom.. cause I already talked to her.. an" "Ben no it's Finn". "WHATTT??!!! HIM!!!! WHY!!!??". "Ben calm down, I just think that you guys would be good friends" "Me with him??, Never!" "Ben please do it for me and if it doesn't work out it doesn't matter ok??" "Fine.. Rey when is it??" "Tomorrow". "Remember Rey I'm only doing this for you" I tell her while I kiss her forehead. "Thank you Ben" she says as she kisses me.

The next day
FINNS POV: I wake up to remember that today is the day that I have that talk with that monster. I eat breakfast and get ready for the day. After I took my shower, I make my way to Kylo.. Ben's room where we were going to talk. I knock on the door, the door opens and Rey is there. "Hey Rey" "Hi Finn" Then Ben walks behind her and kisses her on her forehead. "See you later" "Bye you two, please do not to fight!!" Rey says as she leaves. I simply nod. Me and Ben both sit down, "So how do I know that you won't attack me??" I ask. "Because I'm not Kylo Ren, I'm Ben Solo". "And how do I know that you won't hurt Rey??" "Because I love her and it pains me to see her hurt, I would never hurt her". "And how are you guys so connected and in love??" "Because we grew up together and we dated in the past in our teenage years". Ben says in a broken voice.

BENS POV: "Because we grew up together and we dated in the past in our teenage years" I said to Finn and soon after I told him everything. "Ben.. I'm so sorry I had no idea what you went through" Finn says, "It's ok and Finn I am truly sorry for what I did to you I wasn't my normal self", "It's ok you were with Snoke at the time.. but Ben if you dare do something to Rey I.. "I know Finn, don't worry I'll protect her and love her with my life". "Your a good man Ben" "Same for you Finn.. and by the way is there anybody catching your eye??" "Well Rose kissed me and we've been friends since then so I don't really know what's going on Ben".

2 hours later:

FINNS POV: Suddenly the door opens and Rey comes in with a suprised look "Looks like you two are getting along" "Yup and I now know what happened between you two in the past and I am really sorry for doubting you guys" I say. "Aww now two very important people in my life get along just fine" Rey says while giving me a hug and then kisses Ben. "Finn would you like to meet up tomorrow at the training room and train with me??" Ben asks with a smile. "Yes I would like that" I say as I leave.

REYS POV: "Now that Finn is gone do you want to have lunch near the lake??" Ben asks me with a very happy face. "Yes I would love too". We walk down to the lake and he sets down a picnic mat and food and then we both sit down. Ben takes the food out and puts it on the mat, and there's fruit, bread, salad, and juice. "Wow and when did you have time to do this Ben???" "At last night when you fell asleep I managed to make all this". "Ben I am the luckiest girl in the galaxy when I'm with you, you always manage to suprise me", "Well after we eat we can go get wet". "Ok but let's not go that deep in the water because I'm not that good at swimming". "Anything for you beautiful" Ben says as he embraces me and then gives me a passionate kiss. "So how is the food??" "It's really good, where did you get this??" "I might have had a little bit of help with my mom". "Well then thank your mom as well", "Rey I never really got the chance to ask you this, but I think you already are this but.. would you like to be my girlfriend??" "Of course silly, I already am your girlfriend I've always been". "That's what I expected".

After lunch, we rested so we wouldn't feel sick while we were swimming so we decided to go to a little field close to the lake, he started to tickle me and we started to run around. Soon enough he had surrounded me and I was backing up when I hear Ben say "Look out!!" But it was too late I had backed up too much and realized that I was falling straight to the water. I land deep below the water and I was too tired to get back up to the surface, I tried my best but my body couldn't do it and everything went black.

A little cliffhanger for you guys, I hoped everybody enjoyed this chapter and if there is grammar mistakes I'll try to update whenever I can. Next chapter might be coming in two days, I'll have to see. See you soon!!
