A\N: Heyyy I'm so sorry for not updating, it's been a while and I'm really sorry for keeping you guys waiting. Life's been busy and all that. So this chapter is going to be different cause someone helped me to write it which is my sis ReyloShipper4Life so this chapter is brought to you by her and me lol. OK let's begin:
NOBODY'S POV:
Ben wakes up startled and angry, his fists clenching as he breathes heavily. He gets up from bed and runs a hand through his hair, processing everything the nightmare showed. He began pacing, all while Rey was fast asleep.
Ben tries to think straight but the only thing replaying in his mind was the nightmare he had, heck it could of been a vision. Those were the thoughts roaming inside Ben's mind as he takes shaky deep breaths every now and then. Soon enough, thanks to the force bond Rey and Ben have, Rey sensed a disturbance in the force, more specifically, a disturbance in Ben.
She wakes up yawning and slowly turns around to not find him on the other side of bed, but instead at one corner of the room, curled up in a ball, hunched over, small sobs heard from him. She sighs and gets up from bed walking slowly towards him. She crouches down and gives him a comforting hug. Ben jumps at her touch.
"Hey, hey what's wrong?" Rey asks Ben cupping his cheek as he looks at her, tears rolling down his cheeks. She quickly wipes them away with her thumb only to be greeted with more tears falling down from Ben's eyes. Ben tries to speak but fails as he buries his face into her shoulder as Rey hugs him once more. "Take your time, I got you" Rey whispered soothingly to Ben while rubbing his back.
"I..I.. s-saw..us back at the training academy and..and..." Ben started but broke down in tears, instantly burying his face deeper into Rey's shoulder as Rey ran her fingers through his hair softly. After a few minutes Ben's sobs begin to subside to quiet sniffles. Rey kisses his forehead and wipes his tears away ad Ben takes a shaky deep breath and speaks.
"We..we were at the academy and we finished swimming at the lake after doing training so each of us went to our own rooms and in the middle of the night I woke up from a noise and it was coming from your room so I went there and I saw..L-Luke with a..." Ben sobs, unable to continue. "Shhh..You don't need to tell me..I understand" Rey says kissing his cheek.
Ben leans into Rey's touch and sniffles quietly slowly calming down but still unable to explain to Rey what had happend. So he only whispered "I love you". Rey wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him softly. "I love you too".
Timeskip to the next morning:
Rey wakes up to Ben's arms wrapping around her waist, she smiles softly to herself and turns around to find Ben looking at her cutely. "Good morning" Rey said pecking Ben's nose. "Morning" Ben said in his usual hot raspy morning voice. Rey cups Ben's cheek, "How are you?" She asked still concerned about him due to what had happend just a few hours ago. Ben shakes his head, "Still the same. I try to get rid of that nightmare or vision..or whatever the hell..that is, it just won't leave me alone" Ben said biting his lip to stifle a sob, a few tears welling up in his eyes. Rey listens to him calmly rubbing his back soothingly while her other hand is brushing a piece of hair from Ben's face. Ben simply continued looking down at the floor, pretending to find something interesting about their carpet on the floor cause he was too scared to look at Rey in the eye. Rey knew this but she didn't say anything.
"I know..I know.. that I said let the past die... and all that.. but it's still there, it still h-haunts me.." Ben said in between sobs as Rey brushed the tears that were coming down from his face. "I..I just want them to go away" Ben said in a desperate tone as he buried his face in the crook of her neck.
"Aw, baby I know.. I know... I got you" Rey said as she held Ben's hand with her small hand and rubbed his hand softly, giving him a soft kiss on his temple.
"I got you.."
