BEN'S POV:
I woke up drenched in sweat, my locks of hair soaked with sweat, I ran a hand through my hair, panting and breathing heavily. "It was just a dream, it was just a dream. That wasn't Rey" I assured myself as I mumbled quietly.
I huffed and layed back down, soon slipping back to sleep.

I had finally got out of the med bay, I had no remaining wounds. I was at my desk with my calligraphy set, the sun had already set and the stars were shining brightly, but not as brightly as Rey, I thought to myself, a grin creeping up on my features.
The base was still up and running, still looking for Rey. They had told me to go back to my quarters and take a breather, I refused at first but a few days had gone by and the dark circles under my eyes were becoming visible and I was starting to feel worn out.
But I couldn't sleep, at least not now. I had to know Rey was safe, I had already tried looking for Rey's force signature but it was no use, I still couldn't find her.
The Resistance hadn't even found where the First Order's new base was at, they were still hiding.
Where in the galaxy was she?

With those edgy thoughts in Ben's head, he let out a brief groan of frustration, he left his calligraphy set on his desk and began pacing back and fourth in his room. He rubbed his temples, his brows furrowing ever so slightly.
How he wished he could just ignite his saber and destroy everything his eyes laid upon, just have a short tantrum. But he couldn't, he wouldn't.
He briefly glanced at a corner of his room and saw his crosssed red saber was sneakily hidden. Nobody knew he still had it, not his mom, not even Rey.
He grabbed his saber and held it in his hand for what seemed like a eternity, his fingers awfully close to the ignition button. Ben kept his gaze forward, looking blankly at the wall. His feelings tempting him.
His thumb wandered around the hilt of his saber, he pressed the button. The fiery red saber came to life with a low hum that filled the entire room. But he turned his saber off and dropped it to the floor when he felt a familiar presence.
A Force Bond.
Rey's force signature.
He turned around and a frightening silence filled the room, he saw Rey. She was sitting down, meditating, her eyes shut close and her face scrunched up. She must have felt him too because her eyes shot up.
Rey saw him as well and stood up, her face breaking into a huge grin. Ben wrapped his tight arms around her, nuzzling into her neck.
"You're safe" he muttered, thanking the stars she was alright.
Rey hummed her response, her sweet voice ringing in Ben's ears. She soon wrapped her arms around Ben's neck and leaned in to kiss him. Ben immediately closed the gap, his lips locking with hers.
Both of them felt their heart flutter and butterflies in their stomachs. This has felt just like the time they had touched hands back at the hut in Anch-To.
They were kissing each other, when the two were galaxies away from each other.
The two lovers soon pulled away, a smile plastered on both of their faces. But Rey' brows furrowed, remembering what her father had told her this same morning. Ben and Rey had been manipulated, twice. By Snoke, and by Luke and Leia.
Of course the brunnete didn't even want to believe half the stuff her supposedly father was telling her, but if you put the pieces together, it all made sense.
