You ground me,
Around you I can breathe,
Around you I can for once,
Let down this guard that tires me out,
I get so tense and strung up,
Around everyone else but you,
You keep me centred,
You help me see myself in a better light,
Without you I feel lost,
I feel myself slipping and doubting,
I trip and stumble,
Above to fall then I'm with you again,
And you reach to steady me,
You are my light in the darkness,
You are my moon at night,
I'm so damn lucky,
To have you by my side,
How did I find someone like you,
Everyone else leaves me stressed and hateful,
But you,
You leave me bubbly and full of life,
I don't understand but with you,
I feel as though I don't need to understand,
I feel as though all I need is your hand,
All I need is your heart and I can go on forever,
My heart and soul are yours,
You keep me grounded,
You help centre me,
I love you.
