‘Stop’ I commanded feeling power rush over me. The wolf automatically stopped in his tracks

‘What the hell? How is that even possible?’ a familiar voice asked. The wolf was now on the outskirts of the trees surrounding the clearing I was in. I couldn’t really tell what the wolf looked like since he was in the shadows,

‘Who are you?’ I questioned

‘Wait, you can talk to me?’ it asked

‘Well, of course’ I said confused while my wolf was howling at me to run at the wolf.

‘Its Eric but only alphas can talk to people who are not in their own pack. Technically you are not part of any pack yet and your not an alpha Eric rambled confused. I let down my command and he walked forward. He was a light brown wolf with ice blue eyes staring at me he was in the process of making me uneasy of his gaze. He was about the size of Tyler; so we were practically the same size. Thinking about it we were probably both 4 feet tall in wolf form.

‘MATE!’ my wolf screamed at me as my heart raced when he came closer to me. I don’t know if he was going slowly so he wouldn’t scare me or he was scared of me. The thought of him being scared of me stabbed my heart.

‘No, don’t be afraid mate’ my wolf whimpered

‘Are you afraid of me?’ I asked scared for the answer

‘What?  No of course not! I was scared I was going to scare you and my wolf isn’t really being reasonable right now’. He said and I was confused

However my wolf purred with content ‘wolf wants to mate. Mate likes us!’

‘Mate?’ I asked her confused but evidently I said it out loud because Eric responded awkwardly

‘Mating is where two wolfs uh engage in intercourse’ Eric said uncomfortably which made me want to laugh before he changed the subject “come one we should go inside everyone’s worried about you we need to figure out what’s going on’. He said taking a step closer.

‘Don’t’ I said meaning to use an alpha voice, but it came out weaker and not powerful at all. I steeped back.

‘I would recommend you don’t run from me’ he growled his eyes starting to glow a little bit

‘Yes! Run!’ my wolf squealed happily, I didn’t understand why she was so happy but I’m going to listen to her. I took off in the opposite direction to hear a playful growl. I kept running until I reached the falls again. I stopped and turned back around not paying attention what so ever until I felt another body collide with mine. I looked up to see Eric looking down at me, if you could smirk in wolf form I bet he would be smirking evilly. I squirmed beneath him knowing I could easily throw him off, but instead I chose not to hurt him. He nuzzled his nose into my neck and my wolf howled.

‘Let me free Alice! Let me mark him!’ she said

‘No!’ I said making sure my thoughts were private ‘its your fault I’m in this’

‘Eric?’ I said nicely

‘I told you not to run’ he said nuzzling my shoulder

‘Yes I should have listened. Now can you please get off?’ I said even thought half of me enjoyed him being close to me

‘Mhm’ he mumbled, but he made no advance to get off, he just continued rubbing his scent on mine

‘That’s how males show dominance’ my wolf told me and I rolled my eyes.

‘Eric’ I said reminding him and he sighed then his wolf smile returned

‘Would you like to shift back now or when we get back’ he said and but I got where he was going

‘No thanks I’d rather change when I have something to cover myself nearby’ I said. I remembered Eric and Tyler when they shifted… they were both naked.

‘ I could cover you’ he said

‘No, I’m good thank you, Eric’ I snapped as I rolled my eyes and he got up and we walked back to the house
