Chapter 26
My eyes opened slowly but painfully and they focused on a dark silhouette in front of me.
“Eric?” My voice croaked. Oh god, what had happened to my voice!? When my eyes adjusted I noticed the figure was not at all similar to Eric’s. The man was sitting on a chair backwards facing me. The only light in the room came from the doorway.
My eyes widened, I tried to scoot back only to find myself shackled to the hard cement wall. The man chuckled as he lifted himself off the chair, when he got closer to me I was able to see his features. He had dark brown hair that was cut very short; it had a natural spike to it. His eyes were a very unsettling black. The entire eyeball was simply black. I shoved myself farther in to the wall as he came up and stroked my cheek. For a minute he leaned in and smelled me. He leaned back with his eyes closed smirking.
“We’ve been looking a very, very long time for you. And I will say, you do not disappoint” he said chuckling as he scanned my body.
My cheeks heated up in frustration, I swear if my hands were loose-
“Sorry about the way we had to take you in, but then again you did kill most of my men.” He accused the smirk gone. He grabbed my cheeks harshly, crushing my face. “Now you want to tell me how you did that? I mean look at you!” he said gesturing to my body. “You’re a small little thing! I mean not like that is a bad thing” he chuckled again. “But considering your family line I would expect no less. Your mother a werewolf, your father a vampire” as he said my father’s name I could hear the hate for my father. “Now how about we help out, I’ll propose a deal because it’s not like I can just let you go. We need you and we have searched far too long to give up. It seemed you weren’t going to activate your powers yourself so we had to help you” he chuckled again. I stared at him in confusion. He let go of my cheeks letting me sigh in relief. “Oh yes! You didn't know? That ‘doctor’s visit’” he laughed. “It was merely a test to activate your powers and my oh my, did it work!” he said broadly smiling. “Anyway back to the deal, I’m sorry I’m such a chatterbox! Horrible habit really but when you’ve been around as long as I have then you might understand my habit for talking to anyone who listens and you do seem like a very nice listener. We could become friends easily” his mouth opened wide as fangs stretched out of his gums. He gave me a wide smile before coming closer until I could feel his breath on my neck.
‘Hello? Anybody! Help’! I yelled in my mind hoping my wolf would answer me but all I got was silence.
“Your blood could change everything” he whispered to me. “It’s a real shame you found your mate” he said licking my neck causing my to shiver in disgust. “then again I think we took care of him”
Oh no.
The gunshot
Somebody screamed my name
Eric.
“No!” I screamed writhing my body away from him in all different directions.
He let out a chuckled stepping back “Feisty are we?” he came close putting his hands on me trying to control me. “I can fix that.” he said challangingly his voice very low.
I felt rage burning to the surface then I felt my gums pop. I hissed at him, he watched me amused before attempting to stroke my fangs. But when I saw his hand I reached out against my chains to bite his hand. He screamed in pain when I tore the skin from his body revealing a dark colored blood. His eyes turned completely black, he snarled ripping his hand away, his blood drenched hand painted the floor.
“YOU LITTLE BIT-“ suddenly his head turned to the side as heard a sickening crack and he fell to the floor. His body lay unconscious and a figure appeared behind him.
“Hello?” I whispered
