Chapter 24

 Chapter 24

I bit into his neck and felt his thick sweet blood rush into my mouth but his grip started tightened on me. I almost forgot to pull back. I reluctantly moved forward his neck to close the wounds. Quickly I closed my eyes and went to my happy meadow place. When I opened, his eyes were still closed

“Eric are you ok?” I asked worriedly 

His eyes shot open to reveal a neon blue rim around his pupil. My eyes widened in shock when I saw what looked like mini fangs in his mouth. He grabbed me and pulled me towards him crushing my lips on his. I felt my body being smashed to his.

I pulled back slightly and he growled “MINE”. Then he continued to kiss my neck his teeth began to scrape my neck and my heart beat jumped. I leaned into him and I felt my wolf purring. Wait, wolf? My wolfs back!?

‘Of course, I was only gone while your vampire had taken over’  she purred.

‘Why are you so happy?’ I asked trying to focus.

‘Mates going to mark us’ she practically howled with excitement

Mark us? I felt Eric tilt my head to the side as he grazed my neck again making me shiver. Then I realized, he was going to claim me! A picture of Jensen flashed before my eyes making a wave of guilt wash over me.

“Stop!” I said as I scampered out of his arms.

He growled and took a step towards me meanwhile I took off upstairs. I understood his wolf had taken over and was very territorial, but what I forgot was that he loved a chase.

I took off sprinting upstairs but before I could close the door Eric picked me up and threw me on my bed. He leaned over to me as he grabbed my hands and pinned them above my head.

‘Wolf help! He cant mark us what about Jensen?’ I asked

‘I care not for Jensen, only my mate, Jensen is not my mate. He’s your vampire mate’ she said. I practically froze.

I heard a purr rumble from above me as Eric traced his hands down my sides which left a trail of fire down my sides.

“Eric stop!” I tried to say with force but it came out as a whisper.

‘Wolf I understand you don’t like Jensen but he can’t do this without my consent, Eric wouldn’t want this. Please talk to him wolf’ I pleaded

‘As you wish Alice’ she sighed ‘Let me take over’

I calmed myself letting her take over the wheel.

It was like I was in a meat suit. I was doing things but it wasn’t me doing them. I had no say. I sat there like a sitting duck watching my wolf talk to her mate.

“Alex stop, Alice does not want this”. my voice said. Wait, who’s Alex?

“What?” Eric asked. His eyes were still glowing so I knew it wasn’t him.

“Alice doesn’t want you to mark us yet. She fears of hurting her other mate” my wolf said.

“That’s impossible. How did you know my name? She has no other mate we are your mates” he growled finishing his sentence with possessiveness.

“You know her vamp genes are intertwined with mine. I have no feelings for the vampire but she has no choice but to. I know your name because I am your mate Alex”. she sighed. So wolves have names? Weird I’m going to have to look into that later.

“Its that vampire Jensen isn’t it? He is not her mate! I am!” he yelled

“Come on! You’ve seen the way he acts around her! Her feelings for you are the same. Just give the girl some time Alexander” she said

“Ok, I’ll wait but how long. I’ve never seen your eyes before. What’s your name?” he asked

She smiled “You’ve never seen me because I have never existed” she paused “And I don’t have a name” she mumbled sadly. 

Ok I still don’t entirely know what’s going on now and will most likely have to ask Eric or my wolf. So other wolves recognize each other by their eyes? And wolves are individual people? This is all so new to me. Suddenly I was sucked back into reality no longer just a voice inside my head. I looked to Eric to see his eyes were back to their normal blue. He didn’t say anything to me.

He grabbed me and kissed me possessively and said “You will see. You are NOT Jensen’s. You are mine” with that statement he opened my bedroom door and left.
