Chapter 22

I felt the strong arms release their hold as they spun me around. 

“Eric!” I exclaimed with anger but also I was relieved it was just him

He smiled at me shyly knowing he had done something wrong “Hey”

“What are you doing?” I asked

“Just wanted to see you” he smiled. I had a strong urge to hide my face. He shouldn’t see me like this. I had a little more control of myself now that I had gotten myself used to his smell. That doesn’t mean he still didn’t smell fantastic. 

“Why?” I wondered as I looked down.

“I wanted to see you before Jensen came” he said and lowered himself until he was looking in my eyes “Are you trying to hide from me?” he asked

“No” I mumbled

He grabbed my chin to make me look at him. “Is something wrong?” 

“I just don’t understand why you would want to look at me like this” I said looking anywhere but forward

“I will always want to look at you” he smiled and pulled me closer to him he sudenly stopped and his head began lower to put his lips on mine but when I heard the doorbell ring and practically jumped out of his arms. I wasn't used to the loud noises yet. I grabbed my head. Eric had let me out of his grip letting out a frustrated sigh. I walked into the living room over to the doorway where my uncle was letting Jensen in.

“Where’s Alice?” he breathed out. He scanned the room until they fell on me. He ran up and he hugged me and he stood motionless as I heard a click. He pulled back and his eyes were red rimmed as his fangs lengthened. “How?” he asked scanning me. His eyes were different from mine. Mine were more dominant. More red. 

“She was captured and the people who captured her injected her with a serum. We don’t know what it was but it made her genes bond turning her into a hybrid.” my uncle said.

“So she’s a wolf too?” asked Jensen confused as he examined my features.

“Yes she is and it turns out she feeds like a vampire in wolf form too” my uncle said

“Your eyes are different than mine, and your fangs” he wondered as he touched the tips of my fangs.

“She drank from a human yesterday who attacked her and a deer in the woods today” my uncle said

“She needs more blood but we’ll worry about that later she should be fine for now but newborns require more blood”. he said looking around “so why am I here?” 

“Well Alice can command us. In our kind only alphas can do this. Did you know that?” My uncle asked

“Of course, my mother used to tell my stories about werewolves and shifters when I was younger” he said

“Well Alice can control Tyler and for that every wolf in the pack. Alphas cant even control other alphas’ she’s not even in our pack yet.” My uncle answered. “We were wondering if it worked on vampires”

“Ok, try it”. Jensen said

My eyes widened. What? I don’t even know how to do it! ‘Ok Alice, you can do this’ I said breathing calmly. I opened my eyes and looked straight into Jensen’s. I felt myself starting to build a connection with him ‘Open the door’. I commanded

As he stared into my eyes he got a distant look in his face. He walked over to the door and opened it. I cut off the connection and he looked at me shocked. 

“You did it” he said “How?” smiling he walked over.

“I don’t know” I replied honestly

“That’s amazing” he said in amazement as he stroked my cheek. Everyone inhaled, no one expected that, except Jessica and my aunt. Jessica had an amused look on her face and my aunt had a pondering look on her face. I think Eric was the only one who was the not impressed with the way Jensen was acting. He let out a low deep growl which caused Jensen to look up and glare at him. He reluctantly stepped back. “Is there anything else you can do?” Jensen asked.

“I have no idea” I said.

“its getting late” my uncle said looking down at his watch.

“What time is it?” asked Tyler

“Its 8:45” my uncle replied

“We should go soon” my aunt said looking at me. “Alice is probably tired”.

“Well meet again tomorrow Alice, until then i'll try doing some research” My uncle said and Tyler nodded

“I can help too I mean I’m already involved so I can help” Jensen said

“Sounds good” said Tyler before Eric could say anything.

“We will head out now see you later” my aunt winked and my most of family piled out of the door.
