"Hey, y/n?" Tzuyu whispered to me.

"What is it?" I asked, still in her embrace.

"Do I smell nice?" She shuffled a bit, more of her hair getting into my face as she tiptoed to lay her head on my shoulder.

"Is this a trick question?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Does it have to be?" she laughed.

"It does if you want it to," I smiled. "This is starting to get a bit awkward..."

Tzuyu unhooked her arms from me, letting me breath some fresh air and not her fragrant perfume. I took a deep breath, looking up at the moon, closing my eyes.

"Y/n?" She poked me on the arm.

"You smell like strawberry and dog," I cracked up, my nose snorting.

"Whatever, it's not like you've ever smelt half decent," she crossed her arms smugly.

"I was just kidding!"

We continued our trek across the park, revelling in the beautiful smell of the flora and peace in silence, challenged only by our joyful laughter.

The night felt perfect.

An hour passed, and we found ourselves at the exit of the park that meant the end of our journey.

"Wow," Tzuyu huffed. "The park's a lot larger than I thought it would be. Only a two-hour walk."

"Yeah," I exhaled, tired. "It's like a city in and of itself."

I looked at Tzuyu's figure, her posture still straight, her unwavering legs hidden in her denim jeans.

Mine, however, had wobbly legs and a desire to fall asleep right then and there. I was thin and non-athletic, compared to her who exercised daily.

Funny that I'm the "man".

I turned my eyes to scour the street, seeing that there was absolutely nobody out, save for a few bums having a good drink.

"Hey, Tzuyu," she turned to face me, both her eyebrows raised. "Don't you think the block is eerily empty?"

"I guess," she scoured, tiptoeing. "It's almost Christmas, I guess most people are at home with their families."

"No, most people would be out buying gifts, the streets should be bustling at this hour."

Tzuyu seemed to ignore my paranoia, instead tapping me out of my mini-trance.

"We should start making our way to the hotel, y/n. It's getting late, and we have a flight at like, five in the morning."

"I guess you're right," I nodded, walking alongside with her, an arm's distance side by side.

We trekked in peace across the damp sidewalk, visible air escaping our nostrils each time we exhaled.

"It's so much more fun walking home with you," Tzuyu spoke through her scarf.

"What do you mean?" I looked at her, however keeping my mind focused on my peripheral vision so that I would bump or trip on something.

"Usually I'd be surrounded by like five bodyguards that encase me like a sarcophagus," she laughed. "Some of them are huge, even taller than you."

"Well I don't blame them," I shrugged underneath my sweater. "You are precious cargo, after all."

"Yeah but I'm still human! I'd like to have some privacy, but being an idol just takes just as much from you as you can give. Poor Sana had to go three days straight once."
