"Thank you for the food!"

We had just reserved an entire buffet for ourselves, so that no paparazzi would get in the way. We were completely clandestine in containing the party.

Well, mostly.

As expected, Momo went absolute ape mode and kept screaming for more food, her excuse being that she was angry that there wasn't any jokbal on the menu.

Which is understandable.

It was about our fifth round, and everyone had called it quits. Everyone but Momo and I that is.

The battle was brutal. Food shoveled into our mouth at the rate of a professional eater, our stomachs withstanding the immense pressure of it being flooded with food.

"Y-you're pretty good at this," Momo said in between bites.

"You too," I said, my breathing rapid due to the exhaustion.

We eventually finished our ninth round, when we finally tapped the table.

"That was fun," I laughed, rubbing my belly.

"Yeah, you wanna do this again sometime?" Momo offered me a fistbump.

"You're on," I grinned, my fist meeting with hers. "So who won?" I turned to the rest of the girls.

They had it all recorded on their phones, our glorious battle immortalized as data.

"Definitely a draw," Nayeon said.

"Yeah, you guys finished at almost the exact time," Sana added. "Bravo, y/n! You're the first person to have beaten Momo!" She gave me a thumbs up, smiling brightly.

"Thanks," I chuckled. "So, do you guys wanna head back?"

"Gladly," Jeongyeon sighed. "It's already dark out, too.

We hopped in the bus that JYPE offered, and we arrived back at the dorm shortly after.

We all hopped on the couch, with the girls telling stories that I gladly listened to.

Jihyo was incredibly loud, singing to some Western song. She's practically a walking microphone.

"You're pronunciation is terrible," I laughed.

"You're mean!" She pouted. "Do you wanna get slapped?"

"I was just kidding!"

Jihyo fell back into her seat and sang more quietly to herself.

"Hey, y/n, did you know that Tzuyu can do the best Yoda impersonation ever?" Sana tapped me on the shoulder, as she was sitting next to me. Tzuyu, on the other hand, was seated on the couch adjacent to ours.

"Yoda?" I questioned. "From  Star Wars?"

"Yeah! Come on, Tzuyu, show him!"

Surprisingly, Tzuyu simply looked at Sana nervously and shook her head.

"I'll show him some other time, yeah? I'm a little tired today."

"Aw. Ok then," Sana said disappointedly. "I guess I'll head to my room now. Sleep well!" She winked at me.

As the minutes ticked by, more and more people left, until it was just me and Tzuyu left in the living room.

It was incredibly awkward, with me taking the occasional glance through the corner of my eye.

"You didn't eat much earlier," I broke the silence.

"Hm?" She looked at me.

"You hardly ate one plate of food. Jihyo told me that eating's one of your hobbies. What happened?"
