Chapter 14: "Love After The War"

"It's a good thing that you didn't break your ribs but we will have to X-ray it again to double-check." said the Stone Doctor.

"It seems like you went overboard on your training Lord Sasuke. Please be more careful." said the young medic ninja to Sasuke. Her face was blushing while wrapping Sasuke's body with a bandage.

"I recommend you rest for a few days and don't push yourself too much." the doctor added. He then left Sasuke with the medic ninja.

"Okay, sir it's okay now. I will prepare your bed for you to rest." she smiled sweetly at Sasuke.

"There's no need for that. I will go home." Sasuke said. He put his black shirt back on.

"B-but the doctor said..."

"I will take a rest at my home." Sasuke said. He turned his back to leave.

"L-lord Sasuke perhaps we can go out sometime, l-like grab lunch or something..." the young medic said. Her face was red and she was holding both of her hands tightly.

"That won't happen..." Sasuke said.

"Huh?! But why Lord Sasuke do you have a girlfriend?" the girl asked feeling slightly embarrassed.

"Yes. I have a bride." he mumbled then he went out of the room.

Sakura was holding one of the ivory bracelets while lying on her mat. She had been staring at it for quite some time now. She locked herself in her room after she argued with Sasuke. She flipped her body and lay on her stomach. She grabbed a pen and paper and she started to write.

"Dear Naruto,

Today I had a terrible fight with Sasuke. He seems to accuse me of cheating on him with Captain Morio. I know being with Sasuke-kun will never be a fairytale but I didn't know that it would be this hard. I don't know what to do. I don't know...I just miss you and our friends. I miss my parents. I miss the Konoha... I want to go home...."

Sakura started to cry upon remembering Konoha. She suddenly felt homesick. She hid inside her blanket and continued to cry until she fell asleep.

The prison room was dark and no windows. It has a single bed attached to the wall. Seventeen-year-old Uchiha Sasuke was lying in bed while his whole body was bound with a straitjacket. His eyes were covered too with a blindfold that had the sign "Seal" on it. After the Fourth Ninja World War, he was arrested and locked up in jail. Time inside the jails seems so slow. He would just sit in the dark for a whole day. No one talks to him. Even the high official ninjas that were guarding him didn't dare to talk to him. The whole place was dark, cold, and filthy but for him, that's what he deserves. It's not even enough punishment for his crimes.

He suddenly roused from lying when he felt the aura of a person coming into the prison. The person wasn't even inside the building but Sasuke knew who it was.

"Haruno Sakura approaching!" shouted the prison guard. Sasuke heard his jail room's metal gate open.

Sakura entered the room with four Anbus behind her and Ibiki-sensei.

"Haruno Sakura is here as per the Sixth Hokage's order to check your arm." Ibiki Sensei told Sasuke.

"It's okay Sensei you can go outside. I'll go ahead and take care of it." Sakura told Ibiki and the Anbus.

"But... Okay, we will just wait outside." Ibiki-sensei agreed. They closed the door and locked it again for security.

Sakura looked at Sasuke in bed. She felt deep pity for his condition. She wondered how long he had been restrained from moving or seeing anything. She felt an ache in her heart for her former teammate's disgrace.
