Chapter 5: "First Night In The Mission"

Sasuke and Sakura agreed to meet each other at Konoha's main entrance gate. Naruto together with his wife Hinata came to Sakura's apartment to walk her to the gate.

Sakura had never been excited in her life. It will be the first mission that she will be alone with Sasuke. She could hear her heart pounding out from her chest when she saw Sasuke along with Kakashi waiting for them at the gate.

"Good morning Lord Sixth, good morning Sasuke." Hinata greeted the two gentlemen then she gave a slight bow.

"Drop the Lord please it's just us here..." Kakashi said while scratching his head feeling a little uncomfortable with the formality.

"Anyway, Haruno Sakura and Uchiha Sasuke today is the first day of your mission. I am expecting a regular report from you about the progress of your mission. This mission is classified as Rank A so make sure to fulfill your duty and always give your best to accomplish it." Kakashi said with a serious face.

"Yes, sir!" Sakura answered.

"Yes." Sasuke answered.

Kakashi's serious face suddenly vanished and he smiled behind his mask. "Alright! You two take care. Bye!"

Sakura approached her Sensei and hugged him. "Sensei thank you very much! Please be patient in explaining it to my Father."

"No worries Sakura, as the Hokage of this village they do not have a choice but to accept my decision." Kakashi said jokingly assuring her not to worry anymore.

"Well, you better protect Sakura-chan, you bastard! Eh...but chances are it will be Sakura-chan who will protect Sasuke because of her monstrous strength...Don't make Sakura-chan mad teme because you will lose your life from her scary, viscous, intensive, monstrous strength! Hahahaha!" Naruto uttered with a laugh.

"You idiot!!" Sakura hit Naruto hard with her fist.

"Oooouccch!!!" cried Naruto while feeling the bump on his head.

Sakura suddenly hugged him tight. "Don't give Hinata-san a hard time okay!"

"Of course I won't!" Naruto said while smiling at her. He hugged her back.

"Write me letters. I know I may not reply back because you will always transfer from one place to another but still write me letters. Tell me everything especially when you're sad or if this bastard is giving you a hard time okay..." Naruto whispered with a little concern in his face. It will be the first time that Sakura will be away for a long time and he can't help but worry for her.

"Okay." she smiled at him again. Sakura then embraced and kissed Hinata. She told her to be more patient with her husband.

Naruto approached Sasuke. "I swear I will kill you if something happens to her."

"Shut up idiot as if that will happen." Sasuke muttered. They gave each other a high five.

After bidding goodbye the two ninjas exited the town and they started their journey.

It was a day of non-stop running, jumping from tree to tree on their first mission. The first village that they would visit was Suna from the Wind Country. It would take two days before they will reach the place.
