Blue

That night, (Y/n) couldn't sleep at all.
The memories of her and (F/n) kept flashing in her head, leaving her with more regret than she had before.
She shouldn't have given up on (F/n) from the start...
But even if she didn't, (F/n) wouldn't care anyway.
She tried calling (F/n) multiple times, but only went to voicemail.
She tried going to (F/n)'s house, but (F/n) was never there.
Everything she did would just end up a failure...
She had even failed her friendship with (F/n).
(Y/n) woke up late the next morning, because she was thinking too much all night.
Len was in the kitchen cooking...
Wait, Len can cook now?
(Y/n)'s (e/c) eyes widened as she smelled the air.

"Bacon? Eggs? Grits? Sausage?"

"Yeah! I found them in a cook book! So my sensor told me how to make them"

(Y/n) sat down as Len put a plate of the delicious looking breakfast.
She claps her hands and thanks Len for the food before eating.
She couldn't believe how good they were, she never knew how good her creation can cook!
She ruffles his blond hair, earning a giggle from him.

"Thank you Lenny, this is really good!"

"I'm glad you like it~ Took me all morning though and 2 fire extinguishers"

"Wait, what...?"

Len nervously giggles as he waves his hand.

"Oh forget what I said! Anyway, I have a question: What is the name of the song you sang to me when I first woke up?"

(Y/n) wipes her mouth with her napkin, then smiles at her creation who was still waiting for her response.

"Oh! It's called Kokoro..."

"Ko...koro?"

"Oh! Wait, heart...? Is that an organ of your body?"

(Y/n) giggled at his silly question. He still had a lot to learn, it would probably take months for him to learn more about the human world and humans themselves.

"Yes it is~ But in the song, it's about a scientist who wants his creation to learn about her own heart...Kokoro"

"Oh...well do I have this Kokoro

With this, she responds with a hug, caressing his back as she felt him tense up.
She kisses his cheek, earning a blush from the android.

"Yes, you do have a Kokoro~ A very sweet and kind Kokoro"

Len was glad to hear that from his creator.
He was afraid that he didn't have a good Kokoro at all...but if she said he did, then he would believe her. Always.

"I'm going to the store! I'll be right back! Try not to break anything while I'm gone!"

"Of course (Y/n), bye!"

Len said with a smile as his creator closed the door, leaving him alone in the house.
He then sat on the couch, staring at his hands.
His smile then disappeared, replaced by a face of sadness.
Why was he sad?
Because he knew one thing ever since he arrived in this world:
(Y/n) was a human...and he wasn't.
He was just an android that didn't have real skin or blood coursing through his veins.
He felt different compared to the others he saw out there in the human world.
He wanted to be...one of them.
He sighs as he lays down, covering his eyes with one of his arms, trying to cover the tears that were falling from them...
But he is an android after all...and androids can't cry.

"Let's see...bread, milk, eggs...and a ghost? Ah Lenny...you doodler"

(Y/n) giggled as she scanned the list, making sure she got everything that she needed.
She then nods to herself before walking out the store.
She then accidentally bumps into someone, spilling the ice cream from their hand.
She gasps as she picked up her things.

"I'm so sorry sir-"

When she looked up at the stranger, she gasped at the sight of him.
He had blue eyes, blue hair and a very handsome face.
He looked to be about in his twenties, because he was way taller than her.
After all, she was 5'4".
He wore a blue and white long coat with a scarf wrapped around his neck.
She blushes as she apologetically bows to him.

"I-I-I'm so sorry for ruining your dessert!"

"Oh no need to worry about it, I can just get another one~ Here, let me help you"

His voice...it sounds so soft...

(Y/n) thought to herself as she watched him pick up her things and putting them back in the paper bag.
She has never seen this man before...was he new to the town?
She taps his shoulder, getting his attention.

"Hm?"

"I-I'm sorry, but what's your name?"

"Ah~ My name is Kaito~"
