The friend that has always been on
(Y/n)'s side until after the last competition was now standing in front of her, a mischievous smile forming across their used-to-be sweet face.
The memories began to flash before
(Y/n)'s eyes as she lay there on the hard concrete...
The first memory that came up was when they first created Len Kagamine those many years ago and they failed.
She still remembered (F/n)'s inspiring words...

Try try again (Y/n)...your future will shine bright if you create this android~ Don't give up now!

That (F/n) was gone for sure, now replaced with this...this other side of (F/n).
(Y/n) shudders as she stared into her friend's (F/e/c) eyes...
What was she supposed to say now?
Len stood in front of her, spreading his arms out like he was her shield.
It was clear that he was protecting his creator.

"Look, I don't know who you are, but you better not lay a finger on my master or I'll...I'll..."

(F/n) giggled as they stared right at Len and ignored (Y/n)'s presence.

"You'll what? Hurt me?~
Hehehe...I know that (Y/n) would never create a monster~
So stop pretending to be tough, cause you're not~
You're just a weakling...just like Kaito here!"

(F/n) laughed as they then kicked Kaito in the stomach, causing him to cough up more oil from his mouth.
He shudders as he tries crawling away, but (F/n) just stomps on his back, keeping him where he was.
Kaito held his hand out to (Y/n), who watched in horror as she didn't know what she could do to help him.

"(Y-Y/n)...h-help me..."

"Hehehe! See? What a weak creation I made! I was hoping he would be tougher than a bowl of nails...guess I was wrong"

Kaito clenched his stomach, coughing and gasping.
(F/n) kicked him again, growling.

"Oh quit your whining! You're lucky I'm going to patch you up later..."

"Why are you doing this?! Who are you really?! Wait...I recognize you from somewhere before...wait that's it! From the picture! You were standing next to (Y/n) when you two were younger!"

(F/n)'s eyes widened as they stared at Len in disbelief. They took a small look at (Y/n) before looking back at Len, chuckling.
They place their hands on their hips, smiling.

"Why, I never knew (Y/n) still has that photo of us...how sweet~
Hehehe...not.
Kaito, tie up this loser here...
It's time to get to work~"

Kaito shook his head, wiping his mouth.

"(F/n) please-"

"Do it! Or I won't save you if you die..."

"...I'm sorry (Y/n)..."

Kaito whispered before staggering to his feet, slowly approaching Len, who was now backing away.
(Y/n) couldn't get up however, she was still dumbfounded that she lay there, not knowing what to do now.
Should she get Len out of there?
Should she beg for forgiveness to
(F/n)?
Should she try to fight her own best friend Kaito...?
So far...nothing.
Kaito grabs Len's arm, pulling the boy towards him.
Len kept pushing him, struggling to get out.

"No! Let go Kaito! (Y/n)! Help!"

"What? (Y/n) please! I can't get out! Help!"

Kaito ties Len to the metal table, sighing as he reluctantly hooked the cables up to Len's arms, legs, chest and head.
Kaito didn't want to do this...but if it made his master happy, then he would do it for their sake.
(F/n) smirked as they then took out a small chip out from one of the containers...it was the same red chip from Len's nightmare.
Len's blue eyes widened as he scans the red chip, realizing that it contained different data compared to his chip...
It contained violence and when there's violence...there's death involved.
(F/n) grips his blond hair and pulls him forward, trying to find the tiny slot for chips.
Len shook his head, screaming and crying.
It was just like his nightmare, except it was real.

"NO! I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE! (Y/N)! SAVE YOURSELF! SAVE YOUR-"

(F/n) took out his green chip, deviously smiling at (Y/n) as Len froze.
Whenever you take an android's chip out, they'll freeze in place.
It's how the system works.

"Poor kid...don't worry though (Y/n)...he won't remember killing you with his bare hands~"

They then insert the red chip and crushed the green chip in the palm of their hand, dropping the remains on the floor in front of the scientist.
The green chip that contained Len's happy memories...was gone.
Len shook and twitches his fingers before stopping.
He tilts his head up and opens his eyes wide...
They have became red as cherries.
This wasn't Len anymore...it was an evil version of Android 02.
A monster unfortunately...
