I Love You

This was all her fault, this was all
(Y/n)'s fault for hurting her old friend (F/n) those many years ago.
She shouldn't have entered that dumb competition, otherwise, (F/n) would've won.
But no, (Y/n) HAD to enter just to see what she was made of.
Now she was in a very difficult situation, a situation that involves life and death and because of her, Kaito was now gone.
Whoever was still banging on that door wasn't going to go away anytime soon and they were really desperate to kill (Y/n) next.
The young scientist shudders as she stares at Kaito's lifeless body, wondering if she could reprogram him back to life.
Unfortunately, she didn't have the tools and she didn't have the time.
She then heard Len call out to her, or should I say, 02.

"(Y/n) (L/n), come out and I will make this quick and easy..."

"Len...this isn't you, I won't believe it!"

It was silent before there was more banging on the door again, causing the frightened scientist to cower in fear.
She covered her ears, screaming as tears flow down her cheeks.
Len on the other side of the door stood there in silence as he kept punching the door, gripping a katana in the other hand.
He heard the woman crying...but he didn't care.
He wasn't going to grant her mercy that easily. In fact, he was never going to give her mercy.
He had to follow his creator's orders...
He was forced to.
(Y/n) sniffles, then wipes her red, wet (e/c) eyes.

"No...I can't die here...not now!"

(Y/n) looked around the room, trying to find a weapon, anything to stop Len.
She then saw an open window...it was the only option she had left.
She then gets up and leans out the window, finding a bunch of bushes below.
They could break her fall, it's even better to break her arm or leg than getting killed by her own creation.
The creation she loved.
As Len broke right through the door, (Y/n) took a deep breath and jumped out the window, shutting her eyes tightly as she felt herself falling down.
She landed on her right leg, hearing a snap afterwards...
Pain quickly shot through it, causing her to bend down and grip it, gritting her teeth.

"Ugh...damn it..."

(Y/n) glanced up at the window and saw Len staring down at her with those beaming red eyes of his...she had to escape, now.
She grunts in pain as she limps towards the river, blood slowly trailing behind her as it drips down her leg.
She never turned her back, but she knew Len was still watching her, probably satisfied to see her in pain like this. The real Len would never be satisfied, in fact, he would be worried about (Y/n). He would want to fix her leg right away, maybe even panic to see her bleed everywhere.
But this was 02 here...and 02 didn't care whether or not the person was hurt or even dead.
Once (Y/n) made it to the shore, she fell on her knees in the cold water, taking deep breaths as she felt the pain slowly ease.
She scoops up water and drinks it, hoping that it wasn't her last...
She then heard a giggle coming from behind her and she didn't have to turn around to see who it was...(F/n).
Along with 02, who was unarmed.
(Y/n) ignored (F/n)'s eyes as she stared down at her wet, bloody hands.

"Heh, it's the end of the line for you, (Y/n)~"

"...(F/n)...it doesn't have to be this way-"

"Oh but it has to be! You'll just tattle tail on me to the police and then I'll be put behind bars! I won't let that happen though, I'm going to use your stupid creation to become the next greatest scientist of all time! I'll get all the fame and glory while you're trapped in your watery grave! 02!"

"...Yes, Master"

(Y/n) tried getting up, but the pain in her leg was unbearable, she couldn't escape...
She felt Len's own hands wrap around her throat, his fingers tightening around it, trying to prevent her from breathing. He then pushes her into the freezing water, attempting to drown her.
(Y/n) gripped his arms, trying to stop him, but alas, he was too strong for her to handle.
She just couldn't handle her own creation.
(Y/n) saw her air bubbles float to the surface as her (e/c) eyes saw a blurry Len trying to keep her from getting air.
She shook her head, adrenaline rushing through her whole body.
She felt her lungs hurting from the loss of air and she felt water going in both her nose and mouth.
She then lets go of Len and drops her hands to her sides, realizing that it was hopeless.
She was giving up right there.

Len...even though you're this monster, I know you're still in there somewhere...

She coughed and coughed, feeling dizzy and almost at the brink of death. She slowly close her eyes, tilting her head back as she felt herself falling into darkness.

Len...I love you...
