Human and Android [Len X Reader Fanfic]

Emotions

(Y/n) knew this was wrong, she was kissing the wrong person and that person was Kaito, her own best friend.
She gently pushed him away, earning a confused look from the blue haired man.

"Hm? What's wrong (Y/n)? Was I a bad kisser?"
( ・◇・)？

"N-no Kaito, it's just that..."

"...that?"

"That I don't like you THAT way...really. I like you as a best friend of mine and nothing else..."

Boom, Kaito was friend zoned by (Y/n) (L/n) herself. Unfortunately Len wasn't there to see it...he ran away after seeing them kiss, crying and coughing into his hands.
Kaito's blue eyes widened as he stood there, no words coming out of his mouth.
(Y/n) playfully punches his arm, nervously giggling.

"W-Well, you are a good kisser though! I have to admit! Umm...I have to go now...Len might be waiting for me-"

"Yes, go...he is waiting for you. Goodbye (Y/n)..."

Kaito mutters before leaving her alone on the sidewalk, never turning his back on her.
He felt hurt, really hurt, all because
(Y/n) loved another boy, another...android.
Kaito sadly smiles as he stares up at the dark cloudy skies, the rain hitting his face and hair.

"Heh...so this is what my roommate was talking about...heartbreak does hurt..."

She searched everywhere for Len, but there was no sign of him.
She called his cell phone, no response.
She called his name loud for all to hear...still no response.
Was Len perhaps...kidnapped?
No, that would never happen...would it?
(Y/n)'s heart began to race as she then ran all the way home, praying to the  Yato God that that wasn't the case.
She made it home...no one was there, at least, that's what she thinks.
She examines the area, water dripping down her hair and face from the rain.
She calls out to Len.

"Len? Len! Are you here?"

"...Down here (Y/n)..."

She heard his voice coming from the basement...what was he doing down there?
(Y/n) carefully walked down the wooden stairs and sure enough, Len was laying down on the table, hugging his legs, his eyes red from the tears that flown down his face.
(Y/n) gasped at the marks on his arms...
He had been cut multiple times.

"Len! What happened?! Who did this to you?!"

She questioned him as she grabs a health kit from the top shelf and approaches Len, cleaning his wounds.
Len sighs as he ignores her gaze.

"...I did...I did this to myself"

"What...? Len why would you do this to yourself?! Don't you know it's dangerous!"

"Robots can't feel pain (Y/n)! You should know that by now! You are the one who created me after all!"

Len screamed, causing (Y/n) to take a step back from him.
Her (e/c) eyes widened as she stared at Len, astonished at what he just said.
She then holds out her hand, trying to hold his.

"Len..."

"No matter how many times I cut myself, I don't feel anything at all...
When you kissed Kaito though...something inside me hurt and I think it's my Kokoro...
I don't get it (Y/n)...I don't get it at all.
Why can't I feel pain of a simple cut from a knife, but I can feel pain just watching you kiss someone else...?

(Y/n) knew exactly what her Android was thinking...
Was he jealous that Kaito stole her first kiss?
Definitely, she could sense it in his anger.
The scientist shakes her head as she wraps the bandages around his arms, covering the wounds that worried her.
Even though Len couldn't feel actual pain like humans did, it still wasn't good to leave scars behind, they would leave horrible memories...
This, (Y/n) knew.
She then hugs him, he stiffened at her touch.

"Len...you're jealous"

"Jealous...?"

"It's a feeling that us humans feel every time we see someone we love get taken away or someone wins a competition that we wanted to win or someone buys a car that we couldn't afford...
These are the reasons why jealousy was created and that's what you're feeling right now.
Even though you're not human, you still feel an emotion, which is jealousy. This makes you human Len...like me and Kaito and Kousei and everyone else out there.
I'm so proud of you Len...you can feel emotions"

Len never knew that this was the emotion he was feeling the whole time. This emotion...this is what humans felt and if he felt it...then he would be considered human, right?
Len knew that his creator was right; she was always right about everything.
He hugs her back, rubbing his wet eyes on her shoulder.

"(Y/n)...thank you"

"Len...I'm sorry"
