I find it so funny whenever I take forever to get a chapter out, I write the next one really fast after I publish it (: I wanted part of the beginning to be in the last chapter, but I guess I'm just too lazy sometimes.

Oh, and that's Summer right over there on the sidebar --------------->>>>>>>

Enjoy! ~Kaitlyn

If you have enemies, they'll try everything in their power to hunt you down and kill you. Lucky for you, the arena is full of weapons at the Cornucopia. Try not to go into the bloodbath though; stick to the weapons that are more on the outskirts, so if someone tries to kill you, you'll have a better chance of winning.

Also, try befriending as many tributes as you can (that look safe) so you can decide a plan for when the Games begin, like my allies and I. Don't become allies with the Careers though, even though you probably know that by now. Even if you survive to the end with them, it's not worth it to create another bloodbath.

Suddenly, Summer jumped out of the trees, running and snatching up a bag of supplies. Rosamund immediately saw her, dazed for a minute. Summer quickly ran into the trees as Nico jumped from my right, taking a few weapons and running back the way he came. She snapped back to reality, taking off in a sprint toward Nico with Harman following her.

Then I focused onto my target. Mahogany.

With Rosamund and Harman chasing Nico, she bolted after Summer, hand on her sword.  I quickly stood up from my hiding spot and darted after her. In the trees, I saw Mahogany about ten feet away from me with her sword unsheathed, and Summer running so many yards ahead of her. Cleverly (and as planned), Summer jumped up into the nearest tree, climbing up the leafless branches until they turned so frail they would break under her foot.

Mahogany quickly caught up with her, scowling at Summer in the tree. She threw her sword and scabbard onto the ground an started climbing up the branches.

You've hurt too many people, Mahogany. Now it's my turn.

I ran to the base of the tree, grabbing her sword and throwing it into a nearby pine to be retrieved later. I reached into my quiver, pulling out a metal arrow. I aimed it quickly at Mahogany, letting it fly through the air and land into her stomach.

Mahogany yelped from pain, removing her hands from the branches to clutch the wound. I watched her fall from the branches and land on her back on the ground. She gasped for air, dazed. When she finally looked at where the arrow came from, her dazed expression turned into a murderous glare.

She jumped from the ground, pulling out the bloody arrow. I heard the flesh rip away from the arrow's grip with a sick squishing noise.

"You little bitch!" She yelled at me. "That's the last straw! I'm so going to kill you now!"

She darted toward me, raising the arrow like a battle knife. I dodged it, bolting to the forest ground on my right and rolling over to get away. I stood up, walking backward to keep my distance away from her. I felt like a cornered animal. But when an animal is cornered, they always fight back.

I pulled out another arrow and shot it at Mahogany's arm. She winced and shut her eyes tight in pain. Slowly, she reached her other arm up and tore the arrow away, throwing it onto the ground. This girl never stops!

I reached back to the quiver. . . and felt nothing. Nothing! My arrows were all gone! Mahogany had my last arrows, one as her defense, and other by her feet. I had no other defense.

Then I remembered her sword. It was nearly fifty feet away behind a pine tree. If I could just find a way to get around her without getting hurt. . .

"Annabelle!"

Mahogany and I glanced up to see Summer in the tree, holding a deadly looking knife. She threw the knife in my direction, where it landed in a pile of dead pine needles. I sprinted after it, and I could hear Mahogany running behind me. When I reached it, I dived, taking it into my grip, and jumped back up again. I didn't have anytime to think as soon as the knife touched my fingers. As soon as I was off the ground, I spun around and through the knife at Mahogany, where in landed straight into her chest.

She stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes glanced at me, full of sorrow and pain. She gave a tiny choking noise before she fell to the ground, followed by the boom of a cannon.

I looked at Summer, who was climbing down from the tree.

"Good job. Your plan worked." She praised me.

"That makes one less enemy." I said.

She smiled. "Let's go find Nico."

While we walked through the woods, we heard another cannon. I felt terror course through me. Was that Nico's cannon? A few minutes later, Nico appeared out of the trees, cut and slightly bruised, but alive.

"Thank God!" He gasped. "I thought that first cannon was yours!"

"No, it wasn't. It was Mahogany's." I said.

"You killed her? That's awesome!"

"Who was the second?" I asked.

"Rosamund. Her brother got away though. Had to put up a huge fight just to actually cut her."

"We can worry about him later. It's not like he's an actually threat anyway. We should be worrying about Fable and his allies." I said.

"Right." Summer agreed. "Come on, let's camp out."

That night, we looked up into the sky to see the dead tributes.

First of all, Mahogany, with her shiny brown hair and dangerous look in her eyes. Then Rosamund, who looked practically the same. After that, the boy from 6. Shockingly, Lavendar's face appears in the sky.

"I think that's who you saw at the camp, Nico." I tell him as the sky goes black again. "She must've died later."

"The knife blade had poison on it." He told me.

"That justs leaves Rosamund, Fable, and Severin." I said. "We'll begin hunting again tomorrow."

The next day, I try gathering berries while Summer hunts for game and Nico fishes in the ocean. Then, I cleverly leave out some of the food. The catch was that we soaked the food in poison, but left the rest of it alone for our own sakes.

As we head out, I see something move in the trees. Hidden in the dark green of the trees, the girl from District Nine pops out, taking a careful glance around the area. After a while, she heads to the food and stuffs everything into her backpack before running away.

I smiled. The least of our problems would be gone.

After about ten minutes of traveling, Summer stopped quickly. She put a finger to her lips when I opened my mouth to ask a question. Silently, she pointed a finger towards a gap in a tree. When I looked, I saw the scary image of Fable's body. He held a knife, and was doing something to an animal that looked like skinning.

"Nico and I will go find the other boy. You go see if you can fight Fable." Summer said immediately.

She and Nico disappeared. Staying hidden, I made my way towards Fable. I still had the knife I stabbed Mahogany with, and I'd retrieved my two arrows. Fable stayed focused on skinning the animal's pelt as I made my way behind him, still hidden in the long grass.

I was about to take out my arrow, when suddenly I was grabbed from behind.

"Well, well, well! What do we have here?" I heard Severin, as he slid the knife by my throat
